When all the pettiness has finished I may continue with my story.
For now I am not going to explain it again and again.
I am entitled to save my money, spend it, and go for as many holidays as I like. Especially when I don't pay for some of them!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Just Trying I claim no benefits at all I once claimed unemployment benefit for a few weeks but none of my family receive government assistance at all as i said my husband works to support us .

So you don't claim child benefit then?

Mooloo works damn hard and she employs people too. Why shouldn't she take holidays or buy a car? She's not sat on her backside 7 days a week claiming out of work benefits. i think you're bang out of order coming in here to criticise her. If you don't like what she writes then don't read it. Plenty of other threads to occupy you.

No Feral Moon I don't claim child benefit as my children are not of that age i am more than happy to answer anymore questions by private message as this is Mooloos thread and not an argumentative thread and this will be my last reply to these private question regarding my financial or mental state

But you would have claimed child benefit for your children, would you not? And, no doubt, will claim retirement pension under your husband's contributions?

You entered this conversation, so you cannot complain when people ask your situation.

Why do you call yourself a SAHM then? If your child rearing days are over and you don't actually work or earn any money yourself, then maybe take a look in the mirror before criticising others who work their fingers to the bone with little family support.
  • Hi Mooloo thought I'd pop over and have a gander :)

Another kinship carer! we have had our gd for nearly 2 1/2 years now. It can be a mind field can't it? I really have no idea how I will broach the inevitable questions about why she lives with us. How has your dgd adapted to her unusual circumstances? (actually it's much more usual than I ever realised approx 300,000 children live with in kinship care in the UK! More than are in foster care.)

Fantastic that your business is taking off! Long may it continue x

I spent the day doing the mundane. Washing and shopping.
BF cleaned my car for me, while I was occupied so that was a chore I didn't have to do! And he drove us shopping so I have stuck to the shopping list and kept the shopping budget just under £40.
Hopefully I will not have to do any quick trips to Tesco or the Co-op, and that should stop me from over spending on the food.
I have spent the evening working on the next set of lessons for the adults. I will block some time to finish it tomorrow. In my new business planner. I am pleased to see that I have taken over £480 in the first three days back from the New Year.
I hope that we will continue with growth during January. Traditionally it has been my quietest month. And usually I don't manage to cover the overheads. Maybe this year we will buck the trend.
