Totally understand.
Am doing a 90 day review at the moment and looking at the previous 90 days too.
I am analysing what is going on, and of course am paying extra staff wages then I had planned over the last six weeks.
I will be reducing that I would expect, and of course I plan to pay myself when staff leaves at the end of the month.
I have not signed for a new lease as yet, and am checking all my options at the moment.
Well done Mooloo, don't want to kick you when your down just would like to feel you are really reflecting for a viable future.
I will always support your intentions0 -

I told him I would do another year but haven't signed anything.
I am continually looking at my options and whether I work at home again or not. Although I have nowhere to store all my stuff!
I am sure that I will find the right balance as I continue to tweak things now that the Proms season is over.
I still don't advertise and know that I should really be promoting myself better than I am currently.
I am not a quitter easily but if it does mean I have no option then I will stop.
I have had a lot of thoughts about this.
I have considered investigating whether a consortium of sewers would work in a larger building, or whether moving out of high street would reduce rents etc and am looking deeply at the things that I know I am not happy with.
I am well aware of the financial situation and how much I have at my disposal etc. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I wouldn't see any decision you might come to to give up the shop as 'quitting' mooloo. You are not a quitter. Use different language -
I 'd say it was more 'a proactive change of direction in the light of evaluated evidence'.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Just another thought about the sore throats and yuk feeling, and obviously this is in no way medical advice, but ... have you considered hayfever?
I never suffered as a youngster, but a few years ago I got what I thought was a summer cold. I felt really ill for a few days: streaming eyes, streaming nose, sore throat etc. Then suddenly wondered whether it was hayfever, and since starting to treat that each year it's been a lot better. Not always entirely under control - atm I'm sneezing a lot, in short sharp bursts.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I have some allergy tablets from my reaction to the cats a couple of years ago, will check if they are in date and give them a go.
Mind you the joint pain is the worst at the moment. Time to get up and take my GP to give it time to work.

Mooloo, I would agree that giving up your shop buisness is not quitting it's reevaluating and moving forward.
Well done on the £110 but now let's consider how many hours you have done for that and how much you would have earned working a minimum wage job elsewhere.
More work equals more staff which means you still don't earn!
What is that £110 means to pay for, your home power, food replacement of things you need.
Without doubt you are good at what you do but you need to find the right environment to do it and it is clear that running a shop with all the overheads etc is not right.
Review your home and how much space you would have if you actually did declutter instead of talking about it, I bet you could run a good second string buisness from there while you work part time to actually get a regular income plus pension and benefits to live on.
Yet again probably said too much!0 -
do you have a cash for clothes place near to you, you could try that, you don't get much i bet, but ebaying clothes unless they have designer labels is not a good plan, hard work and not much profit as a rule0
