I’m still waiting for the council to get back to me about my Housing. This review is The Department Of Works and Pensions, so it must be about my Tax Credits. I have never been asked to go in with everything before. I am going to call today and see if they will change the date or I will have to close my shop as it’s half term and staff are on holidays on Tuesday. Staff are back Thursday but not a Sewing member.

HMRC do investigations for Tax Credits.

DWP investigate their own benefits and now also Housing Benefit so it wouldn't surprise me if this is to do with you asking them to change your accounts to declare £3k less than before.

Make sure you take your business accounts with you and that you are able to explain how the accounts came to be £3k out.

Spent the day with Mum. We went to the mill shop for fabric as I have an order for a waistcoat for one of my regulars. Mum bought zip pulls and we both bought two pieces of embroidered fabrics and some materials from the £1 rolls! Actually come to think of it Mum paid for it all.
We then went to MK and I got a new watch strap, we both got a new shawl/poncho thingy and we had lunch in a well known Italian restaurant.
Mum has been struggling to give up the cigarettes (64 years she has smoked), so we bought her an e-cigarette thingy and I hope that will help her. I think she would have picked up her cigarettes by the end of the day if not.
This evening I have been sorting out the spare room and regaining my work space ready to be able to bring work back tomorrow night as Biggest is very poorly and will not make it tomorrow. So I will be on my own in the shop until Monday. It means that I will have to work at night as there is a wall full of jobs waiting to be done.
Several urgent ones and time is flying by!
I don’t like it that some work has been in for two weeks while we waited for the correct zips etc.
Two arrived today and one yesterday so hopefully I will catch up with them tomorrow morning. But I will have to serve in the shop etc so I expect to be interrupted a lot.
I did a little mending and up cycled a jumper dress into a cushion cover just to see if I had my machines etc in the right place for me.
BF is still in Austria until tomorrow, but he may well be disappointed if he gets back here in the evening as I will have to work.
    Such is life!
Would be fantastic to have a few more busy days like yesterday, and sell a few more machines!!!

Glad to see your mum is well enough to go out for the day.

Thankyou. She is definitely on the mend!
We had a good day. She said she didn’t get up until 8.45 today. So she had a good nights sleep.

£307.95 takings today. Lots of collections. Only about 4 jobs in, which was a relief so I could Sew. Although I never did bring the machine down stairs to Sew. So I got lots of exercise.

I am hoping for similar today! We can always hope.
Biggest is coming in for an hour when she does the school run, She may not stay in though, see how she goes.
Dgd is telling me she feels ill every morning these days! Yet she is not. Must be time for holidays! Last day of term today.
BF arrived at 11.45pm as his flight was delayed, and had to get up again at 6am.
I made a calculation mistake in the fabric order for the table cloths and so I have had to order the same amount again!
