Finally feeling better. Slight sore throat but I can deal with that. Dgd is going back to school and I am going back to work.
There is a lot of work to do.
BF is back again today and hopefully I will have enough energy to chat to him!! He plans on stopping Saturday he said because his Son and GF are coming up for the weekend, which means no room for us basically. (First though is thank goodness I never moved there!)

We all deserve better at times, but at the moment we are rubbing alongside each other ok.
However I am well aware that if I get my place in the Sun I will probably be going on my own, or just with Dgd.

Back to normal for all of us today. Dgd is here at work on her gadgets. I am playing catch up with the alterations. Just stopped to get a sandwich though.

Hopefully all should be normal today (what ever that is in Mooloo land).
My brother was to return to France yesterday but the transmission link or something went wrong on his drive down to Folkestone. He got about an hour down the road, so he is delayed while he gets it fixed.
Mum is coming on in leaps and bounds and eating everything in sight, so far she has not smoked anything. Long may that continue. She might even start to put weight on.
Biggest was 31 yesterday. We met with her family and friends for Sunday lunch. DS had DGS3, but the boy was playing him up and wouldn’t sit down and eat. He was rather unruly. DS was embarrassed, and said that she has no routine and it makes it difficult for him.
I have been summonsed for a Benefits review next week.
Explaining my unusual savings and various bank accounts is going to be interesting!
I am going to be able to start on some of the big Makes on order today as I managed to catchup with my work load on Saturday.

On the big dreams I am definitely on hold as I cannot seem to make any savings at the moment and still in overdraft in my main account.
Working harder to rein in the spending is the order of the day.

  • Glad to read that your mum is feeling better.

Who is the benefits review with? The local council or the one that pays you the guardianship money?
Remember that if you don't know the answer to a question, don't try and guess the answer, just say that you will need to double check.

Did you manage to sort the Housing Benefit issue when your accounts were £3k more than they should have been?

I’m still waiting for the council to get back to me about my Housing. This review is The Department Of Works and Pensions, so it must be about my Tax Credits. I have never been asked to go in with everything before. I am going to call today and see if they will change the date or I will have to close my shop as it’s half term and staff are on holidays on Tuesday. Staff are back Thursday but not a Sewing member.

Rearranged the meeting at the job centre for Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
Had an amazing day today, we were so busy. We sold 3 Sewing Machines! I also had 16 customers booking in work, and a lot of collections. Record takings of £574.83 in one day! Now that has set a benchmark!
The down side is that I didn’t get much work sewn because Biggest is unwell and couldn’t come in today. She should’ve stayed home yesterday really. Luckily her Husband could take a day off today to look after her and do the school runs!
