Last bit of my 2016 purchase collected from Boots, got Clarins Double Serum set (50ml serum, beauty flash balm and nail&cream travel size).

I have used one eye mask tonight, part of a pack of 5. Bought this from TK Maxx. Very much an impulse purchase.

I have some skincare products in various sizes that I'm aiming to UU this month.

Deleted_User - well done on being sensible with your No7 voucher.

And - I am using a Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger shower gel at the moment, I get no bergamot or ginger but I do get lemon bathroom cleaner which is a shame. The Body Shop sweet lemon range was one of the best imo it smelt of lemon meringue pie.

    Well, a thing happened yesterday...

I got my hair cut! :D

It's not quite as short as a bob but it's too short to tie up any more which means I am now using my various hair products from my stash items to get it right so that I feel comfortable wearing my hair down outside.

Will be wearing my hair down to my job for the first time ever today. I wonder what people will say...

    one UU for me

Fresh Rose Face Mask mini 20ml - WNB have another in the stash but may give it away. This made no difference to my skin, felt horrible on and looked vile in the pot! Did smell rather nice though.

Too much shampoo works as a shower gel.
Lip stick can work as a cheek tin when applied in a small amount.
    Bronzer doubles up as eyeshadow.
A lipstick brush wetted and dipped in eyeshadow works as a co-ordinating eyeliner.

I tried that one some time last year and really liked it.

Well done on being courageous. It's so easy to get in a rut with a hair style.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I am loving this idea - count me in. I am at work at the moment so not sure how much stuff I have, but I have a couple of baskets worth as well as some bits on the shelves in the bathroom and a big box of Lush bath bombs which I managed to get in the sale. I'm also sure I have a lot of stuff which has gone off so will be binning that. The only thing I will still be buying new even though I have quite a few is perfumes. I like a new fragrance a couple of times a year and it is a treat for myself which I don't want to give up. I use my Heathrow World Points (I work at the airport) or Boots Advantage Points to pay for them.

    Definite PP for Jan:
2 almost finished Mitchum deodorant sticks - one fragrance free, one some sort of flowery smell. Ended up with two on the go after starting a new one on holiday recently.
1 Sanex Atopicare Shower Gel (have another full one of these and will replace again because it is heaven for my super dry eczema prone skin).
1 Ultimate Blends argan oil conditioner

    UU already!
1 x Lush satsuma bath bomb. This was a Christmas present. Loved it although it dyed my bath a bit orange so had to scrub it afterwards. WNBA for that reason but it smelt lovely and I would use it if gifted.
1 x Lush CocoBear bath bomb. I love this as it is so rich and soothing for my skin. I have about 8 more as I stocked up on them in the sale. Again though I have to scrub the bath afterwards as it makes it really slippy! It's worth it though for this one. WBA.

I've done a count of my toiletries and come up with 192. There may be some more lurking around in different bags that I haven't counted so I'll round it up to 200. I've also not counted perfume, make-up or nail polish (it's just basic toiletries).

The most numerous products (10+) are:

    * Shower gel (33) - I acquired more as gifts and still have lots of minis which I'm working through. Goal - use up all the minis by the end of the year. This stuff takes some time to shift!
    * Body lotion (26) - I got some more in gifts and acquired a few more (I do love the stuff). Goal - don't buy any more body lotion, use it twice a day and aim to use up all the minis first.
    * Hand Cream (19) - I get through about one tube a month but used to have so much more of this. Goal - finish off all the mini hand creams in the stash.
    * Face Cream (18) - I've bought a few of these impulsively and they tend to last a long time. So one tube will last about 2 months. Goal - don't buy any more and use up ones I've already opened first.
    * Conditioner (12) - I've been pretty good at this (not impulse bought any more bottles of this for months now). Goal - use up one bottle a month and don't buy any more. This should get me through the year.

I've not counted perfume and body sprays yet but I reckon I have over 30 altogether. They last forever so the goal here is just to get through the mini ones first and try not to be tempted to buy any more. Will add my PP list below. Good luck with the challenge everyone!
