Have TA Nails Inc Victoria. Did not apply so well and chipped very easily. Is pretty old. Will repaint my nails later. Think I'll wear OPI Off With Her Red,
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've never been in this thread (or similar) before and I am going to use all my shower gels before buying anymore plus my tins of deodorant etc as I seem to stockpile when on offer, but I am running low on Eau de Toilette and I have 4 running at once, all for different occasions, but it can get expensive, so does anyone recommend any good fragrance sites that could be cheaper than the high street, and more importantly, are legitimate?

I currently have windows open for Elysian, Allbeauty (have purchased before from these), Amazon, Perfume Click, Fragrance X, Perfume Parlour and Fragrance Direct.

My problem is I look at reviews all over the net but seem to trust MSE opinions more!

I spent 5 hours looking around last night and have spent nearly 3 this evening and i'd quite like to do something else.

    Thanks for any advice.

I've bought from Fragrance Direct and Allbeauty many times, good service and genuine products, no problems at all. I categorically, point blank refuse to buy from Amazon ever, ever and would walk over hot coals to buy elsewhere.

savingfortomorrow - is that concealer the new one from Bourjois? I have the Healthy Mix one in the tube but they do one now which you apply with a wand and I keep hearing good things about it.

Hermia - I find the Botanics range very hit and miss and doesn't seem that natural despite what they say.

I repainted my nails last night with No7 Temptress, it is a lovely colour but very thin and took 3 coats and is still a bit patchy close up. I will try it again over a different base coat and if it is the same it will go.

Just googled your colour. It's lovely. Very similar to OPI Royal Rajah Ruby.

Can I join please? I'm looking at a box of toiletries which will last most of the year. Will do a stocktake later today but I'm skint so I have use or sell everything in my house before I buy anything again.

Sstevo and French skincare addicts- For some reason the LRP and vichy is not distributed as widely in the uk as other countries. It is like a basic line all pharmacies stock irrespective of size. It ia really strange as they are owned by loreal. LRP give out buckets of samples and I find the stockists are very generous with the testers. Try and get as many testers any time you are outside of the uk. I managed to get a huge bag of samples so I really know that it works for me.

I always sign up to get samples whenever LRP is giving them away, so far I've received a sample of Anthelios XL and the Toleraine Ultra cream and Toleriane Ultra eye cream samples.

If I ever get to go to France again, I'm definitely going to get samples :)

Sample size perfume, Flora Botanica by Balenciaga Very musky and floral in scent. Pleasant enough but WNB
  • Spending triggers - January is always a problem for me, it's so dark and cold that I can't do lots of my normal outdoor things, there are none of the pre-Christmas distractions of November/December, and everywhere I look there are new beauty launches!

No INs, no OUTs, steady progress on the PP - might even finish it this month.

    Welcome stellata.

Kind of fallen off the bandwagon with the whole cleanse, tone and moisturise I should have been doing every morning and evening as I have literally been sick as a dog all week :(

I'm not feeling too bad today but hopefully tomorrow I will be feeling well enough to pick up on the routine again, return to work and it's my granddads funeral this week too

    :o
