  • I have a couple of quite satisfying UUs to report.

Aussie 3min miracle - WBA although quite expensive, does make my hair feel great if a little weighed down sometimes.

Lush massage bar, I think it was Peace. WBA I love lush massage bars just as a moisturiser. I must admit I melted this one down a few times in its metal tin as in cold weather using it as a hot oil was much nicer and more feasible!

I too am in the benefit blusher hits pan last ages club! They're nice though and it makes me feel they're alright value deposits being pricy. I have two but one was given to me.

    A few INs to report:

Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Moisturising Stick
La Roche Posay Cicaplast Pro Recovery
    Embryolisse Lait-Creme Moussant
Vichy Hand & Nail Cream SPF15

I found a website called Cocooncenter and they sell French Pharmacy brands and ship them all over the world. It was cheaper to buy these products online than it was to buy from stockists here in the UK. The Cicaplast is normally £13 over here usually, but it was just over a fiver on this website. The Vichy cream is about £7 or £8 over here, but just over £4 from Cocooncenter. And the delivery is not bad at all. I ordered this on Saturday and it arrived today :)

I'm going shopping tomorrow with my sister, and I may have a few INs tomorrow.

I've only managed to UU one benefit blusher, and that was from a blush palette. I have a full sized blush that hit pan a very long time ago and I have given up with. I think they are all going to last me for the rest of my life.
  • ssttevo la roche posey is always less in euros. it seems to a not great conversion rate for uk.

in concealer bourouis and hair treatment for volumizing.
i am spending needlessly and starting to worry but less on food.

Ooh thanks for this - do you mind me asking how much postage was? I love French Pharmacy brands!

3 more eBay sales and 1 UU which was Simple KTS Body Wash - WMBA but need to make a start on a Lush soap I got for my birthday.

It was just over £4, they give a few options for delivery, they use about 4 different courier companies. I choose the cheapest option. It's not bad considering I spent less than what I would have spent on all of these products here in the UK. The only downside is, some brands, like Caudalie, are restricted for sale only in France. But other than that, it was definitely worth it.

    Hello all!

Happy New Year (only slightly late)! ;)

Right, so I've had a few INs and more OUTs.

    In:

4 x 100ml TBS Vitamin E Day Cream: current face moisturiser on offer at my nearest outlet at a bargain price due to change in packaging. That's me sorted for a year.

1 x Nivea gift set (but it went out again as fast as it was regifted. I have lots of stuff already.

    OUT:

1 x TBS Vitamin E Day Cream. Using it at the minute.
1 x Christina Agulera perfume. Pretty nice.
    1 x Corsodyl Daily. HG
    1 x Mitchum deodorant. HG
1 x Champneys Energising Lime Hand Lotion. Smells nice. Bit more plasticy than the old recipe.

Going to try to keep it to a minimum this year then go organic/home-made.

Hope you are all well. xxx

Ladies am so excited. Have booked a trip to Florida and Caribbean cruise for our Silver Wedding Anniversary in September. Sephora here we come lol.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    Hi SFT,

Do you think there is a trigger to your spending? There seems to be quite a bit going on on this thread for a January if I am honest, so I don't think you're the only one we possibly all are a bit!

I know for me it's when I am stressed or depressed and when I feel overwhelmed and under prepared. So the change in weather for example has made me desperately want to rush out and buy stuff but I can't (although I am going to need conditioner!) also the January blues and wanting to treat ourselves as we miss the buzz of Christmas is probably a factor.

We probably all need to take a breath and think a bit about the spending. :money::money::money:

    Yay how exciting!

Make sure to hit up the SPF.

I'm saving up at the moment to go away. Can't wait until I finally do!
