If you look at the beginning of your blog HSL this started in 2017 and you have endured so much in the interim.I so endorse CCL`s comments . I am still struggling with the fact that he upsets you in your own home.6

Thank you Janb5, SH and CCL.
Today I have contacted the mediator to explain about the ex’s reaction on Sunday and have said I don’t think mediation will work. Waiting to hear back from the mediator now, hopefully with whatever piece of paper is needed.
Today has been work tasks all day. I’m hoping I’ve done enough to be able to salvage some of my day off tomorrow. I had a thought about doing a welcome home cake for DD1. DD2 made one for my birthday that allowed sweets to fall out when the first slice was cut. I thought we could do a cake that allowed her favourite sweets to fall out. Or I found a recipe for Pimms cupcakes which sounded interesting. Either way it needs baking tomorrow night and hiding in a very secure place so that the teenage boys don’t find it before DD1 gets back! The younger children have been doing a countdown until she gets home - we have all missed her.
MSE news - I have shopped from home today, as Foxgloves would say and probably saved myself a couple of hundred pounds. In preparation for DD1 returning, I’ve been sorting bedroom furniture. Basically I needed an extra bed, now that DS3 is in his own bed. I had looked online and found a bed frame in a sale for £250. I didn’t go through the checkout but decided to wait. Today I went into the attic and amongst the myriad of stuff up there, I found an old pine wooden bed frame in good condition just in pieces. I’ve brought it all down and if I can get some bolts tomorrow, the bed is ready to reassemble. So glad I didn’t go through the checkout!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . That's a fantastic 'shop from home', HSL! I thought I did quite well finding a spice rack in pieces in the shed.
Let us know what cake you make!

I am glad you are taking steps to move forward with the divorce. Great find on the bed too. DD coming home will be all the more lovely for the lack of bed bill.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Busy day today...am absolutely shattered but so very very glad to have DD1 home🥳☺️. We were able to get everything packed into the car ( people carrier, most seats flat). We haven’t unpacked anything this evening but will tackle that tomorrow.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
