Good to hear your daughter is back home. I do love people carriers where all seats go flat. They are such good work horses and can fit so much in.7

I`m in great danger of sounding ` soppy` but.it never ceases to amaze me what ` lovely` people there are on the debt free diaries. We probably will never meet but it does gladden the heart that people genuinely look out for each other and offer support even although we are ` strangers`!
Personally I`ve learnt a lot about gardening just by reading your blog!6 -
Thank you everyone for your kind comments- you’re right XSpender, it is such a relief to have all my children under the same roof ☺️.
DD1 got stuck in this morning and made banana pancakes for the youngest 3 ( the only ones awake as the teenagers were still asleep!). She has already said she’ll help with meals on the days I work and has asked how much keep she should pay. Totally different to DS1 - I’m hoping he’ll start to understand that contributing to living costs isn’t an unreasonable expectation.
I had a baking session first thing this morning and made a batch of vanilla cupcakes, a sponge and a chocolate courgette cake, which was delicious. I’d not tried that recipe before so was pleasantly surprised by the result.
Besides the cooking I’ve not got a lot done today...fighting the desire to sleep but hoping to get an evening walk in before needing to get ready for work tomorrow.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

The chocolate courgette cake sounds yummy- would love the recipe! I`ve just made my son`s 30th birthday cake which was Devilish chocolate and raspberry torte which apparently went down a storm. Very rich recipe. I stayed up late to make it because of the heat and went to bed @ 2am. Joys of motherhood.!6

Great news on DD1 being home and I really hope she sorts DS out regarding contributing as I think his attitude sucks.
