I was fine with it lol, it was my Consultant that had the issue with it being only 0.5 lb. "If I had food optimised correctly I would have had more off etc."

Poor you! My last consultant was pretty useless but she wasn't judgemental. I think it's OK to lose or gain provided you know why. So if you've been off plan that's fine. If you know you don't lose on a weekly pattern that's fine too. What we all need is help and advice not being told off (unless it's about Speed food.;)).

Good to see you posting lois. You've been missed. Well done on your loss, you must be doing something right.:T
Good Luck to everyone starting afresh today.:A Hope you haven't been poorly topgirl.

Wholemeal thins are a HEB tweets but not 50:50. I think you can get away with it when you're at target but just for anyone who needs to know. I guessed that the lovely Poppy would have more than her fair share!:D

Glad you feel safe and happy here larumbelle. What a nice thing to post:) Welcome WJN:). The books changed almost exactly 2 years ago so worth looking at the first post on here for the most up to date Speed lists and HEXs may have changed a bit too. Just ask if you need any syn values or anything.

I'm going to a (postponed) Christmas do tonight with nibbles. I'm going to have dinner before I go and try my utmost to eat almost nothing unless it's 100% SW friendly. No drinks involved, just tea.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, fried veg and pickles
D: salmon, SW chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (asparagus, mange tout, peas).
    Syns: tba
  • Hello! Love and hugs all round to losers and newbies and all the rest! Is it Blue Monday today? No wonder I feel so fed up (that and the carpy drizzle).

I seem to keep losing and gaining the same 4/5 pounds end it takes so long. I'd be happy about it if I was at target, but I still have 2.5 stone to lose...

Sorry I've been AWOL recently, when I'm struggling I don't feel very positive and with all the enthusiasm on this thread it would be a shame to be the miserable one in the corner. I have been reading tho, so thanks to everyone, you've been helping without knowing it.

Lois this was me all last year, it's annoying to look back and think you lost several stone in total, and if it hadn't been for all the gains in between you'd be at target! Glad you're still reading and I think it's important to keep posting too as it shows others that not everyone is having a fantabulous time of it as well as giving people the opportunity to support you.

Well my Weigh Day treats on Friday turned into a bit of a weekend of gorging. Least said about the that the better. Sneaky look on the scales tells me I seriously need to get my bum in gear from now til Friday.

    Today:
    B - Coffee (I know, sorry)
D - Roast veg (onion, courgette, carrot, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes) and couscous
T - BNS, potato, carrot and onion soup with a WM roll
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - Sugar (5), extra milk (1), hot choc (2)

Going to try to keep my Syns under 10 all week. Just been snacking on some cornichons and pickled onions... not sure that's a good idea before a yoga class!!

That was pretty close to my reaction too!

Since the new year I've been intending to keep wine Syns for the weekend but for the last 2 weeks I've made it to 10pm on Tuesday which is when we get back from the quiz and both weeks we came away with winnings so had to have a glass of wine to celebrate,

Thanks for all the positive comments, I'm not ready to give up yet. Having said that, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I maintained at my current weight - I've got plenty of clothes that fit! I know I'd be much healthier if I was 2.5 stone lighter though, so I'm going to keep trying.

    Totally forgot to post-
4lbs down over past 2 weeks.
Had the weekend mainly off plan but back on it today
  • So today I've had

B 1 wheatabix with milk and berries
    Satsuma
L 2 scrambled eggs fried toms and mushrooms
    Alpen light bar
D large veg stir fry with noodles and a few tiny prawns that were lurking in the freezer and needed using.

Megga munchies so had a late bowl of wheaties with alpro coconut and a banana....tasted like I'd poured malibu over my cereal but I'd used my 250ml milk and thought it might be a nice change.

Still feel like I could eat all the bairns Christmas chocolate stash that seems to be never ending but I can't really blame the elf anymore now he's back in the north pole. So one large dose of will power and I'll go prep some oats for breakfast and have an early night and plan a more filling menu for tomorrow.
