Medication can have an effect on weightloss whiplash and, while I've no medical knowledge, I think steroids are particularly known for it. So to have a loss taking that into account you've done really well.:T

:Ton your loss too cazza. I'm someone who didn't lose regularly every week so understand getting that pound is a bonus!

I eat very little fruit too tweets but with all that veg you don't need to worry. Good plan to get poppy sharing the biscuits and crisps.;)

Well done, wiz, Cazzaswfc, Whiplashy and Starry.eyed.

Well I have not been good today. We had visitors for afternoon tea and dinner and I was nibbling bits and pieces instead of chucking them in bin; really stupid!

    Sunday
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, apple, little hexa milk
    Lunch: mint hifi bar (3 ½ )
Snack: broken shortbread bits, bit of an Empire biscuit (10?)
Dinner: roast beef, SW roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips and beetroot, gravy (1), small Yorkshire pudding (1 ½ ), sf raspberry jelly ( ½ ), ff raspberry yogurt, raspberries, and I succumbed to a little Elmlea double (4)
Snack: rest of hexa cheese. grapes

    Total syns: 20 ½

I have read first post and wrote down the speed veg I like and some fruit. I am not a fruit lover . I don't eat fruit either, as long as you have plenty of veg instead this isn't a problem!

Today I have eaten no brekkie rarely eat brekkie makes me feel sick eating in morning.

    Coffee with semi skimmed milk

Dinner/lunch was at mums so no choice its same every Sunday ;)Depending on what she serves and how it is cooked this could be no syns or dozens - I know that you don't have much control over it, but do you syn it?

A square thin 50/50 with 2 slices beef on it and lurpak. Is this a weightwatchers brand 50/50? If it's Kingsmill I don't think this is a HEB because too little fibre. How much Lurpak and which kind? Syns will vary dramatically depending on which you used and how much. Lurpak Lightest is lovely and only 1 syn per tsp :j

For tea homemade veg curry , Carrots , sprouts , cauliflower , mushrooms , small new potatoes with skins still on , broccoli , onions I cook this in pan water til soft then after drain and add a SW tub curry. Sounds yummy! And lots of speed!

Unsure if I will have a sachet options white choc around 9pm or another coffee. This is 2 syns if you have the options?

Bag pom bears which I share with Poppy dog and bedtime we have a McVities rich tea biscuit each. If the pombears are from a multipack they are 4.5 syns. Are they split evenly? The biscuit is 2 synsI think?

Also had 2 thornton chocolates at mums only because they where coffee flavoured creams lol. These are 3 syns each - be careful, this is the kind of thing where syns creep in without you remembering LOL

Yesderday I ate similar same for tea tonight was warmed up from last night. Options and pom bears and rich tea but dinner/lunch I add a jacket potato with home made egg mayo . Do you syn the mayo? Again, amount and type can make syns for this vary hugely

Dinner at school/work is similar everyday egg mayo sarnie on 1 slice wholemeal bread and whatever veg is on. Sometimes I have fruit if its on menu if not go without. Tea will be different everynight though with veg .

Watch this space next Sunday will be a minus :D

I added some bits in red, Tweets, I know that you know your stuff, it's just in case...

Feel free to tell me to bog off and mind my own business :p

It's probably just a blip, there's a million and one things it could be, hopefully you'll get a good loss next week :)

I don't do group either. I have an anxiety issue that means I can't always even leave my house. I feel 'safe' here too, and it is lovely to know there is a supportive group here who will help and not judge :A
  • ....tiptoes in after the weekend - which was fab but results in just 5 syns until Friday, eek..... So damage limitation it is.

B- poached eggs on wholemeal slice
L - hm leek and potato soup
D - Jacket potato, beans and lots of salad.
Have some pears, carrot sticks and satsuma to snack on.

Hello! I rejoined last week but have so far failed to start the diet!

I am however starting today, so although I may now see a loss on the scales, a couple of days under my belt will help me build confidence!

Looking for support pls...need to lose 4 stone to get to goal.

Had Wed-Sun off work and off plan :( Still, time to shine now. No point in dwelling.

B - Bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich (HEXB)

D - Tuna pasta salad (2 for extra light mayo) and melon slices

T - Sausages, mash and vegetables (1.5 for 3 porky lights hopefully, if not, I've some syn free ones from our butchers I can defrost)

Bournville hot chocolate (2) and fruit later.

HEXA - Milk in tea/hot chocolate.

Couldn't sleep for anything last night so a bit zombified this morning. Busiest day of the month today for us too. Joy...

    Hope you're all well!

Weighed in at home on Saturday as I couldn't face class - 2lb gain - I'm in freefall :(
  • I've had raging toothache all weekend :( so haven't really been SW friendly for a few days, totally lost my appetite thanks to the pain.

Hoping to get a dentist appointment today, don't think I can face another night of agony and painkillers make me really sleepy so I'm like a zombie today :D

Hope everybody else is well in here, happy Monday

I was fine with it lol, it was my Consultant that had the issue with it being only 0.5 lb. "If I had food optimised correctly I would have had more off etc"

Think I annoyed her coz I felt like I had to defend myself and told her everybody was different, weight loss wasn't linear, I wouldn't have a big loss every Saturday and that if it had of been a sts or a small gain I would have been ok with that too as I am trying and I'm not going to beat myself up over "only 0.5lb loss".

There was another poor woman who had a lb on and she gave her such a hard time! Its a lb! and the woman was honest in that she just cant get her head back into it after xmas.

Anyway hopefully I'll get a good loss this week - to annoy her if nothing else lol
