    Welcome, Allotrope :hello:

Congrats those with losses and STSs, hugs for those who neeed one :grouphug:

Lantanna, how nasty of your consultant!!! I thought consultants were supposed to support and encourage and inspire, not judge and criticise and give people a hard time! I am glad you want to get a big loss just to annoy her LOL

Blue Monday has lived up to its name here :( my medication dose has been increased and it has made me feel horrid. The side effects of the smaller dose had only just started to go, now it is up and they're back. It will increase again at least twice in the next six weeks or so before it 'gets to dose'. The thought of another couple of months feeling like this just makes me want to curl up and hide somewhere.
I know these are just short-term while my body gets used to them and I am trying to stay positive that at least this is the first step to feeling better, but I am not managing to convince myself too well so far LOL. My eating today has not been great, I have stayed on plan but just picked at things to be honest as I am too exhausted to cook and too nauseous to eat. TBH this is partly why I am back on SW, because at least then I have the structure to make sure that when I have days like this I do still eat, and make sure I still get enough of the important nutritious stuff when I wouldn't bother otherwise.

Anyway, sorry for the whinge. I will do better tomorrow.

Tweets~ I made the veg thing with the curry sauce.
    Liking it :)
I used up stuff in fridge & some frozen veg.
I used potato, brussel sprouts, onion, courgette, peas & sweetcorn.

Glad you like it. I like the fact you can add which veggies you want and it tastes good and fills you up. :T

  • Thanks for the chart Shala.

Quick peak at the scales this morning aren't looking good but I deserve it - staying on plan whilst in the office seems to be a lot easier than when I'm at home either working or at the weekend.

Another week and try again. Plan to meet some ex-colleagues in June so that is a huge motivation for making a real difference by then and not to mention it would be nice to carry a few fewer lbs down the slopes in March

    Hello, Allotrope, TOOMUCHWORRY and WJN222.

    Well done, Lois.

    Conratuations, Haylaluru, on being SOTW.

Thanks for the chart, shala. I’m happy to say it’s a loss for me again this week (don’t all faint). Post up -3lbs for me, please.

    Monday
    Pre- Breakfast: banana
Breakfast: hexb oat crisp, 70ml ss milk
Lunch: 3 egg omelette with mushrooms & green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, syboes, cucumber, an orange
    Snack: fun size Maltesers (5)
Dinner: roast beef, potatoes, gravy (1)
Maman, I know there is a distinct lack of veg here. I was late home and phoned DH to get him to sort the dinner; I gave him explicit instructions on how to heat the leftover beef in the gravy and that he’d need to do potatoes and also veg from fridge or freezer. He said all he could find were green beans but he decided they’d take too long (he had an hour!) so he made Yorkshire puddings instead - I forgot to say not to make them! As well as green beans, there was a choice of cabbage, turnip, leeks, carrots, spinach, sweetcorn and peas – that he couldn’t find. So 2 small Yorkshire puddings(3) are my ‘free veg’, lol. It was followed by sf raspberry jelly (½), ff raspberry yogurt, raspberries
Snack: banana, rest of hexa cheese. grapes

    Total syns: 9½

    Rubbish day Monday
  • Thanks for the chart Shala!
    Congrats Haylaluru - fab losses!

My five syns are gone now, so need three days very low syns - don't think I will manage none at all.

    B- overnight oats with raspberries
L- jacket potato with beans and salad
D- diet coke chicken with wedges and lots of veg.

    Have a good day everyone!
  • 1.5 off for me

this was after a maintain the week before so I upped my syns (sometimes/usually I don't have any syns) I have made sure I am eating HE As + Bs and it seems to have worked :)

Just 1lb off getting in to the next stone down

well done to all the losers

January is just one of those yuk months - its hard to stay positive when the weather is so gloomy - bring on the sunshine.

Hang on in there everyone, skinny hugs to all that need them x
  • Urgh. Well yesterday was a disaster. I think I just didn't eat enough for my meals (roast veg couscous and soup) and I got in from yoga at 8.30 ravenous and proceeded to eat half the house. Perhaps Blue Monday had something to do with it too. Plan for today is to eat bigger meals.

B - Mullerlight and passion fruit
D - Roast veg couscous as yesterday but with added bacon and boiled egg.
T - Meatball minestrone stew from freezer.

Congrats Haylaluru (your name reminds me of something from Watership Down!) and thanks for the chart Shala!

LOADS of work on today so best get on with it. Have a good day all!

I looked at your meals yesterday Tete and thought to myself that's not much.

Thanks for the chart Shala as always. I would love to see me hitting my target this time round. The chart is a good motivator in itself.

12 weeks until I am back in the sun and I would def like to be in the next stone bracket for that. Not like - need!!

Although I woke last night at 3am jumped out of bed and ate two squares of galaxy - syns will cover it but still - not sure what diet I am on lol. I'll not be declaring that info at weigh in on Saturday or I'll be shot!

Off to the gym tonight, got 12 more sessions to get done this month to hit my target of 20 times so best get at it.

Managed to get some spag bol out of the freezer last night for lunch today to have with salad. The other challenge I need to set myself is to clear the freezer stocks. Eat or chuck.

Having steak tonight with miscellaneous veg from the freezer. Aiming to get one drawer fully cleared by the end of January. I am such a hoarder its a disgrace! I want the whole thing cleaned out, filled with vegetables and my own sw ready meals in marked containers. Its just too chaotic and disorganised at the minute to be of any use.
