Wow some absolutely brilliant losers on here, and hugs to those that are strugglingI was fine with it lol, it was my Consultant that had the issue with it being only 0.5 lb. "If I had food optimised correctly I would have had more off etc"
Think I annoyed her coz I felt like I had to defend myself and told her everybody was different, weight loss wasn't linear, I wouldn't have a big loss every Saturday and that if it had of been a sts or a small gain I would have been ok with that too as I am trying and I'm not going to beat myself up over "only 0.5lb loss".
There was another poor woman who had a lb on and she gave her such a hard time! Its a lb! and the woman was honest in that she just cant get her head back into it after xmas.
Anyway hopefully I'll get a good loss this week - to annoy her if nothing else lol
Glad I haven't got your consultant. Mine is so encouraging.
Everyone has a gain sometimes, and has weeks that are worse than others, and that's before you get in to other reasons for weight variation. I know that my weight can vary by over half a stone depending on where in the month I am because of my hormones.
For me, I'm back on forum after the weekend. Don't seem to get on here much at the weekend.
Didn't do too badly, although it was my Mum's birthday yesterday, so we had a lovely meal out and birthday cake. I had been saving up syns all week so should hopefully be okay. Hormones might effect tomorrow night's weigh in though.
Today:
Breakfast - yogurt and banana
Lunch - chopped salad with lf cottage cheese as the dressing and sw quiche
Dinner - Beef and noodle stir fry
Snacks - apple, orange, melon, alpen light bars
HA - milk
HB - alpen light bars
No speed at breakfast but lunch is 60%ish speed, dinner is 40%ish speed and snacks are very speedyZebras rock0 -
Morning all
Reporting in with -1lb which means my total weight loss is back to 3.5 stone again, which is where I was months ago, I seem to keep losing and gaining the same 4/5 pounds end it takes so long. I'd be happy about it if I was at target, but I still have 2.5 stone to lose. I know exactly where I'm going wrong (wine Syns) so it's in my power to change it and today is the day to start.
Sorry I've been AWOL recently, when I'm struggling I don't feel very positive and with all the enthusiasm on this thread it would be a shame to be the miserable one in the corner. I have been reading tho, so thanks to everyone, you've been helping without knowing it. :T
Have a good week everyone.

I'm in the same boat with losing and gaining the same five pounds and still having 2.5 stone to go Lois so I feel your pain! I am massively struggling at the moment, good to see you are turning it around. Like you I know what I need to do, just can't seem to make myself do it!0

Hi everyone,
+3.5lbs:eek: please Shala
How horrific is that??? Some of it is hormonal and I'm also blaming the seeetie munchies that I've been suffering on hormones too but, to be totally honest I've just been really slack with counting syns properly too since Christmas. All my own fault so back on the battle wagon now0 -
Hi All - can I join you please
I did SW a few years ago and had great success however a job change and house move sent me wildly off the rails and I find myself heavier than ever before and something needs to change. I have not been able to find a class near me that I can make it too (i.e. wont get home from work in time) so hoping that joining in with you all can help keep me on track.
I need to loose 2 stone but anything in a downwards fashion would be good the way I feel at the minute.
Starting with Fish and veg for dinner tonight - and I WILL NOT have wine with dinner (which happens more often than it should!)walk 2018 miles in 2018 - 781 of 2018

Back on plan today.
Doing ok so far.
You can do it Lois.

Feel free to tell me to bog off and mind my own business
It's probably just a blip, there's a million and one things it could be, hopefully you'll get a good loss next week
I don't do group either. I have an anxiety issue that means I can't always even leave my house. I feel 'safe' here too, and it is lovely to know there is a supportive group here who will help and not judge :A
I would never tell anyone to bog off :rotfl:
Cant see red bits on quote back I go to see if I quoted right post0 -

Today I have eaten no brekkie rarely eat brekkie makes me feel sick eating in morning.
Coffee with semi skimmed milk
Dinner/lunch was at mums so no choice its same every Sunday Depending on what she serves and how it is cooked this could be no syns or dozens - I know that you don't have much control over it, but do you syn it?
A square thin 50/50 with 2 slices beef on it and lurpak. Is this a weightwatchers brand 50/50? If it's Kingsmill I don't think this is a HEB because too little fibre. How much Lurpak and which kind? Syns will vary dramatically depending on which you used and how much. Lurpak Lightest is lovely and only 1 syn per tsp
For tea homemade veg curry , Carrots , sprouts , cauliflower , mushrooms , small new potatoes with skins still on , broccoli , onions I cook this in pan water til soft then after drain and add a SW tub curry. Sounds yummy! And lots of speed!
Unsure if I will have a sachet options white choc around 9pm or another coffee. This is 2 syns if you have the options?
Bag pom bears which I share with Poppy dog and bedtime we have a McVities rich tea biscuit each. If the pombears are from a multipack they are 4.5 syns. Are they split evenly? The biscuit is 2 synsI think?
Also had 2 thornton chocolates at mums only because they where coffee flavoured creams lol. These are 3 syns each - be careful, this is the kind of thing where syns creep in without you remembering LOL
Yesderday I ate similar same for tea tonight was warmed up from last night. Options and pom bears and rich tea but dinner/lunch I add a jacket potato with home made egg mayo . Do you syn the mayo? Again, amount and type can make syns for this vary hugely
Dinner at school/work is similar everyday egg mayo sarnie on 1 slice wholemeal bread and whatever veg is on. Sometimes I have fruit if its on menu if not go without. Tea will be different everynight though with veg .
Watch this space next Sunday will be a minus
The beef is 2 thin slices from Tesco deli I don't really know how many syns to say for the beef sorry.. The thins are either kingsmill or warburtons I don't syn them just think heb b. . Mum scrapes lurpak on and off so I say 1 syn. I haven't bought any since I started SW because it was one of my downfalls .
Didn't have the options last night had another coffee.
Mayo is Tesco in a jar the light one I mix about a dessertspoon full with my boiled egg. I say 4syns for mayo.
Pom bears are 15 g bag must admit Poppy dog gets more than me must be quarter for mummy 3 quarters for Poppy lol.
Will post todays grub later I am unsure whats going to be eaten with my SW cottage pie for tea.
Hope this makes sense I had to copy and paste my post lol
Rich tea biscuit is 2 syns0 -
Anyone else not feeling the love for Blue Monday!
Aaaagh, anyway its 15.10 hrs and I've been on plan all day so far.
Think dinner will be a use up bits and bobs from the fridge. Then after that I really need to make a dent in the freezer stocks this week.
Its ridiculous!0 -
I am doing a freezer use up this week too.
Have ditched some stuff that was so out of date
A lot of Sw meals I just dont fancy now.
Burgers do nothing for me.
Not sure why I bought them.
Must phone Iceland to complain about the chilled stuff.
