This thread seems to move at a lightening pace - how do you all keep up? Any tips? I seem to loose where I've read to.

If you subscribe to the thread then when you go into Quick Links and click on the title there will be a First Unread post to click on. Hope that makes sense!

Well I was all geared up to start last Tuesday. Weighed in (heaviest ever :( ) meals for the week planned, sorted.

Then I got a call on Tuesday afternoon to say my (9 years estranged)mother died in the night.

All a bit strange, not really sure how I feel about it, but it sent my plans a bit awry.

Anyway, back this morning, assuming (praying) I haven't gained any more. I'd like to lose a stone and a half and see how I feel.

B - Bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich (HEXB)

D - Chicken noodle soup and melon

T - Beef stroganoff and going to give cauliflower rice a bash

    HEXA - Milk in tea

BM - The commute and going to scrub my floors. First day back at work today and not feeling it, but thankfully we're British so nobody is really talking to me about things, just a lot of sympathetic smiles.

Hope you're all well, going to catch up on the thread now.

So sorry for your loss Topgirl, can understand how confused you must be feeling as no matter how long you've been estranged she was still your mum and you had many years together. Remember the good times :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

The chart shows some impressive losses, and an impressive total, and that's with a number of us haven't weighed in this week yet (tonight for me)

Well after a really bad weekend, I had a really good day yesterday, and have another one planned today.

    Breakfast - yogurt and berries
Lunch - Chopped salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radish, carrot, with ff cottage cheese as the dressing) and slimming world quiche (mushroom, asparagus, kale, tomato, egg and left over HA milk from yesterday and a tiny bit of Wensleydale)
Dinner - Chicken and butternut squash thingy (This is my favourite homemade soup made in to a full meal. Soup is butternut squash, red pepper and garlic, mushed to smooth. Making it in to a meal by adding chicken and serving with rice. Might stir in some quark)
Snacks - orange, apple, cucumber sticks, cherry tomatoes, radishes, melon, muller light, alpen light bars

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - Alpen light bars
    Zebras rock
