  • First weigh in tonight - 3lb lost. So pleased as have been doing this half-heartedly for a while but without having much of a result.
I think the main difference has been the commitment to increasing fluid intake and using all syns on 'real' food. Am really motivated to go forward now with hopefully another successful week. Made soup today for my work lunches and planned all evening meals.
Well done to everyone else on your losses. It really helps me to keep going reading all your messages every day :)
  • Morning! Finished yesterday on 14 syns.

    Today's plane
B - overnight oats with raspberries
L - jacket potato, chilli and salad
D - heck sausages (6) mash, veg and gravy (2)

    Have a good day.

    Morning,

So weigh in on Saturday wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. So exactly 4 stone back to target. It will be 3 stone something on Saturday I hope.

Hope you feel more yourself soon Beanie

B: Porridge with speed fruit salad
    L: Beef Stew with Cabbage
    D: Spagetti Bolognese with Salad

Went to Tesco after the gym on Saturday to get some fruit and veg and the dates were absolutely shocking

Morning everyone! Been really busy with packing up the house ready for the move on Friday so have had very little time to pop on here and catch up with everyone. Not so happy to report a STS for week 1. I've been full on back into the excercising this week also, which always limits my losses initially as my body starts to get over the shock of actually doing something for a change!

Upping the speed foods this week and trying to save my syns for the inevitable champagne and cheeky takeaway for our first night in the new house.

Have a really long day at work today so have lots of snacky things as I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to eat as I'm in back to back meetings / training:

B - FF yogurt, fruit pot (strawberries, blackberries, grapes)
    L - Mugshot, clementines
    D - lentil dhal, broccoli
S - apple, pear, alpen light x 2 (HEB), chocolate oat milk (HEA), chocolate truffle (4 syns)

Hope you all have a great day!

Why are you tasting candles, Tete? Are Yankee better than other brands, flavourwise?

More pungent I'd expect :D It just tasted how a YK smells, if that makes sense? In much the same way as I proclaimed when I was little that new potatoes taste like ear wax - I promise I had never, and have never, tasted ear wax! (I love them now :D)

Morning all! I'm back to work this week (finally) and really don't wanna! Doing prep from home today so sorting my meal plan for the week first. I didn't go mad at the weekend but I wasn't on plan either so I'll be reining myself right back in before weigh day on Friday.

I'm going to do my New Recipe of the Week today: the Chunky Meatball Minestrone Stew from the latest mag, as I have a packet of SW meatballs to use from the freezer anyway. I hate celery though so am going to substitute that with courgette :undecided [Where's the little shrugging smiley gone? They get rid of all the best ones *roll eyes*]

    So today is:
B - Apple and FF natural yoghurt
D - Baked potato w/ speedy Quorn chilli from freezer
    T - Meatball minestrone stew

Have a good day all, and happy new SW week! x

Let us know how that goes Tete, I saw it in the New mag and thought it looked nice. Might join you in the New Recipe a week thing. I eat the same things all the time.
