At least s/he didn't make a new thread about it!
The B of S Vantage terms and conditions state that you must pay in at least £1000 in a calendar month, and pay out 2 DD's in a calendar month, to qualify for interest. So I read that DDs paid today will qualify for January as will funding made today. Am I wrong?0 -
Yes, according to karlie88 on this thread. Her advice went unchallenged.Deleted_User wrote: »So I read that DDs paid today will qualify for January as will funding made today. Am I wrong?0 -

I don't see how a DD payment leaving an account on 3 January won't count as a DD paid in the calendar month of January. Can someone explain?0 -

Mine will!
I think the kernal is confusing matters with his own quandary about whether his late December DD will count for his December interest from BOS if it actually goes out in January. If it was only delayed by the holiday period then it should count as a December DD just as my DD set up for 1st of January 2017 will count for my January interest even though it was paid out today!0 -
The OP in my thread clearly stated that Tesco had set up the DD to leave on 3 January but I retained £5000 in the account for the last fortnight of December because nobody challenged karlie88's advice. If it was wrong as you imply, then I will lose faith in this sub-board.Yorkshire_Pud wrote: »Mine will!

If you read my post again you should see there are two distinct scenarios, one for DDs set up for December but paid in January due to the Saturday 31st to January 2nd holiday and the other contrary to your assertion, is that DD,s set up for January as mine is DO COUNT for the January DD requirement for BOS interest. So yes if your DD wasn't due to go out on 31st December and didnt go out prior but was actually set up for January 2017 then of course it won't count as a December DD.
And when are you going to stop your last day of the month shenanigans for so many of your transactions then coming on here to bleat about all the problems it causes you and then BLAMING the people that try to help you in good faith!0 -
Which is exactly what I explained in my thread and also in my previous post. So, why would I need to read yours again if I understood what you were implying?Yorkshire_Pud wrote: »So yes if your DD wasn't due to go out on 31st December and didnt go out prior but was actually set up for January 2017 then of course it won't count as a December DD.0 -
