Thanks for the reminder, time to pay off some of our 0% credit card balances as I don't have any other interest paying accounts to stash the difference in :(
Some 1% savings accounts? (depends on the CC balance(s) as to whether it's worth it). Maybe buy some Premium Bonds? (a free 'bet'). More in S&S? (not for everyone). It goes against the grain to repay 0% debt early, so I'm doing all the above with my 0% credit card debt.

TSB monthly interest will be paid tomorrow, being the second working day of the month but will be dated today (3 January). Check your account at about 12.15am tomorrow morning. Ditto Lloyds, BoS and Halifax reward.

Today is also a bank holiday in Scotland but I have no idea if this affects interest payments, the second working day COULD be Thursday.

Also, any DDs that went out today won't count for January (at least for BoS). Can anyone confirm that this doesn't also apply to funding made today?
