Well the Cashback is all but done for many of us and on 4th January 2017 the eligible amount for the new lower 3% interest rate reduces from £2,000 to £1,500.
Well it was good while it lasted and its still not bad compared to most other offers;)

As well as the TSB classic reductions lots of us will have the Lloyd's current accounts that are reducing to 2% a few days later and not forgetting Halifax reward reducing to £3 a month around this time too!0

Are they also converting second TSB accounts to a regular saving account or did I dream that bit?0

They "may" convert additional Classic Plus accounts over and above one sole and one joint to a Classic account.shortcrust wrote: »Are they also converting second TSB accounts to a regular saving account or did I dream that bit?0 -

Sorry, I meant a standard savings account rather than a regular saver.0 -
I'm going from a touch under £13 per month in 2016 - interest not always maxed out because I use it as a live account for contactless - to approximately £3.75 as of next month, which I'm less than thrilled about. But it's still towards the top end of the (dire) current account market, with fewer hoops to jump through than most of the better deals out there.
There may be some potential loopholes in which it would be worth considering leaving TSB in specific circumstances. For instance, if TSB were to offer a switching bonus in the future (they have in the past), and it were my intention to chase every single switcher's bonus going, then there might be value in leaving.
But for most, TSB will be their most effortless account of all (£500 in each month, £503.75 out each month, no DDs, only have to log in once per year). It doesn't strike me as one that people should be desperate to get shot of, and despite my middle paragraph I don't personally see the value in doing so.0 -
Contactless spend ending for me too! Do transactions have to be posted to your account before 31st Dec for it to count? Eg if I spend something today but it doesnt appear on my statement until Jan 1st, will it count? I have around £40 of contactless spend left!0
