Not sure what I am going to do with them.I would donate to charity, but I don'tthink many charity shops would appreciate being loaded down with 8 years worth of school uniforms,3 weeks after school has started back .I have offered them to a couple of friends who work with vulnerable families,so hopefully they will still be used.Otherwise will list on freecycle.

I'm not sure I'll get to the 2017 items by the end of the year (am missing out on a NNS this month where I'd usually easily get rid of 100-150 items alone in the one day) - but I'm trying my hardest to get there!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Aww,thank you for the suggestions, greent.I wish my children's school would organise some sort of "uniform shop"-the amounrt of uniform that must go to landfill each year doesn't bear thinking about .I will ask the school if they want afew donations (sometimes they do call-out for, say, trousers for the really young year groups).
I know their school has a big problem with children losing school uniforms, and they are not named. So the poor school ends up with a room full of unidentified/unclaimed unifrom.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

My decluttering efforts over the last few days have certainly resulted in a bit of a messy house .
So I spent today tidying up my "little messes".I had had a few piles of paper sitting on the front room floor, waiting to be dealt with (file, shred, read and deal with etc) for about the last month!Lovely to see my carpet again :rotfl:.
I also went through the uniforms I had divided into piles according to age. They had been sitting in piles on our bedroom floor for a week :eek:.I have bagged them up and put them back into the loft until I can get them rid of.(Last week I did ask a social-worker friend of mine if she knew of any families that could use them. She was going to get back to me.I think she has forgotten.......)
My hallway was full of all the rubbish I brought in out of our old banger of a car that doesn't work and we are going to sell for scrap.Mostly plastic shopping bags, and a few small items waiting to go to the tip.I sorted through that mess.
Also got rid of a few things from loft.
House almost back to normal.
Out today:
Recycled from loft:
760:board book (a jigsaw farm book,missing pieces)
761:bag of unused postcards and travel guides.Given to me about 10 years ago, with the thought (by the giver) that my kids might use them for cutting and pasting.school projects,etc..Never used.....
762:Peppa Pig card game (think it was a "free" gift on front of a kid's magazine)
763:gift bag
Binned from loft:
764-766:doll's bed mattess,pillow and sheet
767: driving theory CD(2009/10 edition ),was still in shrink-wrap
768-769:ripped vacuum bags
Recycled from around the house:
2152:2014 Paperchase diary,Christmas present for daughter,hardly used.
2153:assorted kid's drawings.I do hate throwing out kid's artwork, but I am a woman on a mission at the moment,so am just getting rid!
2154:DVD case
2155:box that daughter's mobile phone came in.Originally I think she was going to keep it,but has decided to let go
I also
2156:emptied a pretty storage box of tat
2157:sorted through a box of papers for long-term storage in the loft
2158-2159:had a "first pass" through 2 different boxes of stuff
2160-2161:decluttered another 2 piles of papers
Binned from the house:
2162:handful of kipple
2163:dirty Pudsey Bear bag fob.Felt a bit bad throwing the poor thing out,but it had been on a child's school bag for a year or two,so was abit yucky

2165-2166:one bag and one plastic container full of shells from holidaysSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
