By using vouchers (B**ts) and money-saving multi-buys, especially for my electronic ciggie refills, managed to save a whopping £18.50 :j

Well done Lynne and thanks for reminding me that I bought calpol in B**ts with points so that's another £4 for my total. (Own brand of course!)

    £149/310
  • I'm still on a roll - better save some effort and eBay stuff for Feb!

I switched internet provider and picked up £25 for my old router on eBay. I also picked up £7.36 for old DVDs today and another £5 from Swagbucks. I've reached a £10 voucher total on survey mini but haven't decided on which voucher I want!

It's a good month... not sure I can keep this pace up!

    Well done:T

Yes, I know what you mean about keeping the pace up;). I've had some brilliant months followed but some that certainly were not:eek:. It's swings and roundabouts really. At least this month has shown you that making a lot of extra money is definitely possible:beer:

Congratulations to all money makers and canny money savers:A

Didnt really know what everyone was talking about with engageme TV but have found it on clixsense where I need to find two offers a day. If it works, I have found my solution, but how do I earn from it?
At the moment it seems to be running through the same vid? Do I need to manually click it onto the next video?
    Any advice gratefully received.

    Oops sorry lol wrong thread.

I wasn't sure whether to count this but it's money I was expecting to spend and then didn't - so I think it's legit!
It was my son's birthday party today and when I went to settle up, the guy said "and you've got the special offer so that's £60 off". I was thinking what special offer? But deployed the poker face and paid up.
And then we've booked a few days away at half term, self catering. I found the place on trip advisor and messaged the owner for a quote. When it came through I was about to pay when I remembered reading something about TA adding fees to an owner's price. So I found her own website and messaged her there. Lo and behold: £45 cheaper!
So I'm adding £105 to my total and may actually manage my goal this month for once!!

Sorry I have been AWOL but I had a bad few days that I let drag on for over 2 weeks! I have 9 days to try and claw it back.

£290 in 9 days is not going to be easy but I am going to try my best! Everyone seems to be doing so well and reading through the posts has helped motivate me to start again tonight :)

    this might cheer you up

I am dangerous with technology that does not involve tablets, phones and pcs lol.

The shredder I bought that I thought was broken? I hadn't read the instructions and was putting it on backwards.

The blender I bought years ago and never used? I didn't want to waste the bananas DH and DS hadn't eaten. have no eggs so thought will make banana milkshake. I stood here for 15 minutes deciding it was broken and had to go back to Curry's. Until I read the instructions

align the arrow with the unlock arrow otherwise the blender won't work! !!

    One banana milkshake later....
