Sorry to hear you're feeling blue, shariann. I hope you'll be back to your usual self very soon:beer:. I think once all the buzz of Christmas and New Year has gone we're just left with cold, dull days without much on the horizon to look forward to. It's enough to make even the most optimistic person a bit glum:(.

Good idea to take supplements, Lynne, I'm glad the Vit D is working for you and hope the cod liver oil soon will too:j

Had a phone call about the online focus group I'm booked in for next week and it seems they pay by Amazon voucher rather than the lovely 'real' money I was hoping for:(. I buy stuff from Amazon anyway from time to time so it will be there waiting until I need anything and I'll not have to spend my own money so it all evens itself out in the end. The trouble is, being a bookoholic, the temptation to splurge it all on books might be too much for me:o. Not very money-saving and MSE in that case:eek:

it is mse. the books will be free theoretically as you have worked for them and been paid. treat yourself

Good luck to everyone still soldiering on to the end of the month:beer:. Still a week to go, plenty of time to get those targets smashed:j

Had a phone call this evening from the organiser of monthly tabletop sales about 15 miles from me offering me a table for Saturday morning:j:j:j. Tables there are like gold-dust, they even have a waiting list in case anyone drops out. I've sold there only once before as the 'regulars' (a very cliquey lot;)) pre-book for the whole year:(. As she 'knew' me she'd put me on the waiting list and it's taken about 18 months for a table to come available. Someone is ill so it's strictly a one-off not a regular booking, the organiser made it quite clear:rotfl:. It's a very busy sale in a posh area and I snapped her hand off:T.

Sold another book on Amazon this evening and I'll get it posted tomorrow. I'm glad that one's sold as it's been listed for about a year but will bring in £17.12 profit so I'm delighted:j. Won't adjust my total until money comes through, takes about 4 days.

Might just make target this month after all:dance:

Sorry, forgot to say that I hope you'll soon be feeling on top form, Kantankerus. Well done for standing your ground and getting a work rota that suits you:T:beer:

    well done CBC.

sorry not posting much, not feeling great last two weeks and been going bed early.

Shariann didn't get interviews for any of the jobs I applied for. things are changing dynamically so might be a bit better at my workplace. will find out tomorrow.

How are you doing so well on cashbackearnersz? is it referrals or using for cashback?

  • Just wrote a post and it disappeared:mad:

Sorry you're feeling under par, Aesop, I hope you'll be better soon. Sleep is a great healer so you're doing the best thing going to bed early:T. Sending hugs and comforting hot drinks your way:kisses3::coffee:

I've been feeling 'odd' since yesterday morning but I know exactly why. I jumped up too quickly to see to something. I was wearing my reading glasses and had been looking down reading for a long time beforehand and I nearly fell over:o. I never wear these glasses when I'm moving about as they are quite strong. I've felt dizzy ever since but thankfully it's getting less as time's gone by:j

I need to go out soon to get the book posted that I sold last night but there's still freezing fog here and the road is white with ice/frost. Nearest PO is a 5 mile drive away so I'm putting off going for a while yet. The joys of country-living eh?

Have a good day all. Stay safe and warm:beer:
  • Afternoon all!

Sorry to hear a few are poorly or feeling low. I must admit January is my least favourite time in terms of both staying healthy and generally, just keeping my chin up. Still, its a bright blue day today - I've even got washing on the line!!! - so I just cling to those days when they come. It'll be Spring soon everyone. Just keep focussing on the brighter days to come and get all the money making efforts out of the way now, while you're mostly stuck indoors :)

Not a huge amount to report since last. Just a few more bay sales, taking me up to £235.39.

I've slacked a bit since most of my items ended as I get a bit of 'bay-fatigue' when a lot sell in one go and you have to wrap and post etc. About ready for another push though. Hoping for another sale to creep up first, but also have a few bits to try on gumtree again, so I'll crack on.

Well done on the new tabletop sale space CBC - one door closes, another opens hey! :)

    Afternoon all

Hugs and gws vibes for all the poorlies and a huge congrats to all making monies :T :T

Great news re your 'table-top' for Saturday and all your sales CBC. Hope it goes well and maybe another will soon pop up as well :D

Doing well Surfchick - good luck for the rest of the month

Am still pushing along, hoping to crack something soon. I agree that January's always a bit of a down month, especially if the weather is dreary. It's a better day here today - 10 degrees and sunshine, though a bit of a cold wind when it catches you brrr.

Going to do some of my Spanish lesson and then push on with some surveys so fingers xd.

Hope you all having a good day

  • Just got all excited because I had an email from OnePoll saying they 'missed' me and had topped up my account by £5:j:j:j. I was hoping it would take me up to redemption level as this is one of the survey sites I'm definitely going to unsubscribe from once I've cashed out;)

Even with the £5 I'm still only at £21.20 and I'd forgotten that cashout is a whopping £40:mad:. It's taken years to get this far, I hope I live long enough to get my money one day:rotfl:
