sorry carbootcrazy DH came in. meant to say that's why people write c5m#t or tosco etc.
  • Just completed a Pureprofile survey which took me to £20.05 so I was really excited about cashing it in. This is one of the survey sites I'm planning to finish with once I've been paid as the surveys are so infrequent and even then I tend to get screened out after the initial questions. At least they pay a few pennies if this happens but building up a balance is so slow:eek:

Anyway I was gutted to see that their redemption threshold is £25 and not the £20 I expected:mad:. So, sadly, looks like a few more months until payout:(

Somebody recently helped me out with some advice re my energy bill. It eventually got sorted by someone Really helpful over the phone. I'm sure the two things were unrelated but I do like to think of the representative standing on a table in the call centre asking if anyone had spoken to a woman whose bill had been hiked to £199 per month and if so to be extra nice as she is bad mouthing us on MSE :D
That image made me laugh - but you could be right :rotfl:

My total for today is a big fat zero ! Definitely must do better eh

Hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday

I have spent the last week being screened out of My S*rvey, over and over again. I persevered hoping to make the 10 pts I needed to cash out at £3 and never log on again. Tonight I get that survey, now have 355 points and lo and behold they have removed the £3 paypal cash out option...I am annoyed!! Oh, and I made 5p, yep I am steamrolling it...

Not moneymaking but more motivating. Have just joined another thread with the goal of walking 2000 miles in 2017. I need a kick up the backside to get my fitness level higher so shall be great to see if I can actually do it.

Thanks for that, Kantankerus:T. Haven't had the time to click on the link and investigate yet but I definitely will. From what you said it sounds like a brilliant thing to take part in:T

I'm assuming it doesn't include the miles you must walk over a year in the course of your job. From my youthful waitressing work I vividly remember the tired, aching feet and legs at the end of a long shift:eek:

Oh Im including everything :rotfl: In theory I should easily do the 2000 and more. But with that challenge and the challenges with friends on fitbit, I am hoping to do lots of walking outside of work as well.

Just been over to the thread and read all the posts. Seems like a nice friendly group of challengers:T

I don't think I'll be joining though mainly because I don't have the technology and definitely can't afford to buy a Fitbit any time soon:o. Even my old pedometer has died from old age and over use:(.

It's certainly given me something to think about though and I'll try to devise something to make me walk more (I already do plenty) and find an easy way to measure and record it. Thanks
  • Well, at last, some money actually received:j:j:j. You lot have been putting me to shame;)

£14.92 from Amazon and £6.64 cashback from TCB.

Maybe if I do really well this month I might go mad and treat myself to a Fitbit;). Will give me a bit more incentive to leave no stone unturned to make money in the final two weeks:T

I hope you all survived Blue Monday and are now all back to your usual happy selves:beer:
