No money in the bank yet but have done a few hours overtime at work I'll add to my total once it's in there. Hopefully will get up to the £5 mark on ipsos. I was hoping to get £50 from yougov- so close but I don't seem to be getting selected for many at the moment. Ah well it can go on next months. I've started getting prices for books/dvds on a few sites. I'm off next week so will get the rest of them priced up and hopefully send them on next week :j
It'll be nice to see some kind of figure at least in my total :rotfl: I think I need to knuckle down and grt a few more ebay listings up to hit my target.
I always think you'd get less on ebay in Jan as more people are skint so have waited till Feb in the past. Has anyone fou d this to be the case?1 debt vs 100 days -

.....7 minutes later, I didn't get the one I wanted, but as it's going to be used by all of us, we decided to go for another seller at £95. Still saving £15 +PP off the next cheapest I could find! It sounds expensive, but we actually all need new toothbrushes at the moment as ours die after one use and we do like to take GOOD care of our teeth
:D:D Even 4 separate and cheaper ones would still have cost more! I'd rather have one crack hot one between us. Less fuss with chargers and space too.
Hope everyone has had a good money making weekend! Some lovely amounts coming in. Keep it up everyone! :T£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -
do you know what? after being with him for years and never winning even £10, I was thinking of giving up. I know I will be gutted then if my postcode comes out but I don't think anyone in this street plays just me. I know people around me in the surrounding streets play as seen their postcodes come out.carbootcrazy wrote: »I've had no joy with the Free Postcode Lottery and check all the different ones on there every day:(. There's never been my postcode area (the first part of it) as a winner all the time I've been a member and I was seriously considering unsubscribing. Then yesterday one of the Stackpot winners' postcodes was at the other end of the hamlet where I live. So near and yet so far, eh? Might stick with it after all;)
A nearby postcode winning doesn't make a difference to your chances of winning, it doesn't work like that.
I made a thread about how low your chances are of winning anything at all (even the small prizes) on the free postcode lottery :https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5569190
Instead of spending a few minutes of time each day for the tiny chance of winning a modest amount of money, you're better off spending those minutes (which amount to hours each year) earning a few guaranteed pennies, using certain apps etc.0 -

I know thatbut I have been with freepostcode lottery literally days after they started so I kept going.
The reason I want to give up is there are too many bits to click through and waiting for videos to play to get next code, click before 6pm to see if your postcode came out etc. Sorry Chris if you are reading. I have stuck with you loyally for years.
I already have started whittling down sites I am not happy with ie, inbox pounds. Managed to hit £20 and cashed out, so waiting for my amazon voucher due 18 and will close my account.
I have done the same with other sites like gifthulk etc. And I already do lots of moneymaking appsand even some of those got the bin like roamler.... applike.... and a few others.

sorry not been around much, been busy decluttering the house and selling off what I can, charity shop for things I know wont sell fast, they are sellable just not by me.
The house is starting to look a lot tidier and less cluttered which is nice. DH is being a pain telling us we cant hang our coats in the hallway, so we make the effort of taking them upstairs or hanging under the stairs. What does he do? Hang it on the bannister!
He tried to make me remove the shoe holder he bought a few years ago, from the hallway, "as we only wear one pair of shoes at a time!" Yes... but I am a woman. I wear flat shoes, driving shoes, slippers, boots, trainers.... and I am not going up and down the stairs looking for what I need. Especially with frequent trips outside throwing away rubbish. That would mean a pair of shoes just for that. DS wears trainers, school shoes and wellies.... Sorry DH, you are the only one in the house who wears one pair....

Funny how the man wants the living room and hallway and kitchen clutter free and minimalistic, but can't keep his side of the bedroom minimalistic and tidy! :rotfl::rotfl: sorry rant over, he has really annoyed me today.
I finally managed to take my parcels to the two parcel shops. One refused to take my parcel last week, when DH took it, as he said the courier had already been!!! !!!!!!. The shops always take the parcels and wait for the courier the next day. Fine, they lost my custom. I took it to the shop that is further away, but is much more polite and pleasant to me as a customer.
So once they are received will be able to include my money.
Waiting on a cheque from zaffer or is ziffit? I forget.0 -

I have the memory of an elephant but only for certain trivial things lol. I can't remember that but you may well be right. Saying that I have sold some things this month. Not major items but still worth selling.0 -

I do know how it works, I'm not a complete idiot:rotfl:
When checking the numbers I see that a certain few postcode areas (the first bit of the postcode, not just at street level) appear with monotonous regularity. I appreciate why this might be but it was reassuring to see that on one occasion (rather than every day) someone with a full postcode about 500 metres from my home was drawn when I assume (maybe wrongly) that there are so few people in that code actually registered (very rural, no houses etc). I'm fully aware that it doesn't mean I'll win too, it just made it seem more 'real' somehow;).0 -

I'm doing the same, Aesop, especially with survey sites;)
I think Raspberry Queen was partly responding to me after I'd mentioned the nearby postcode. I do understand how these things work;), it just gave me food for thought:)0 -

I know what you mean about taking stuff to charity shops. I do the same even though I know I might be able to sell it myself if I live that long:rotfl:. That's why I'm planning to take a lot of stuff to sell at tabletop sales every week. The items might eventually sell on eBay etc (only after several relistings though:() and a lot of hassle but cash in the hand (probably less than I'd get on Ebay eventually) and the clutter gone is worth far more to me;)
As for your DH being so tidy, I had to smile. Not because he's trying to reorganise the rest of the family's lifestyle against their wishes:eek:, but because he's just the opposite of my OH. Every room OH goes into ends up like a hurricane's hit it with stuff everywhere. He seems to spend so much time tidying up his belongings and then when he wants anything in the future he can't find it and seems to need to drag everything out of cupboards and drawers and just leaves stuff there until his next big 'tidy up'. I blame his Mother;)0
