Fab thanks CarbootCrazy, I've never tried them so that could be the impetus I need.
I've fallen a bit behind but adding £8.50 from a couple of eBay sales and £11.51 interest takes me to £107 so far.0 -

Just about got myself thawed out and warm again (thanks to a few cups of tea:T) after the tabletop sale this morning. Although it was inside a Scout Hut building the heating had failed and it was bitterly cold in there, plus there is no car parking directly outside so it meant several precarious walks over rutted thick ice on the road and pavement with each load of boxes I took in:eek:. It was a very long morning.
It was good fun though, a nice constant trickle of really jolly browsers and buyers. Maybe a lot of them only came in for the coffee and bacon rolls:rotfl:. I often find though that the British weather brings out the best in people:T. Sold quite a lot of pure 'tat' (including cheap but heavy/bulky items that I hate having to parcel up and post after eBaying them). They might go for less profit at a tabletop/carboot sale but the instant cash and relief from hassle is well worth it to me:j
Made £32.20 after £5 pitch fee so in the circumstances I'm delighted.
Slight problem, the organiser was offering a discount pitch fee (to get buyers to commit to booking in advance) of 'pay for 4 and get the 5th free'. I forked out the £20 today as paying in advance will force me into actually sticking with my challenge to go every single week;). Rather than deduct the full £20 from today's profits I thought I'd deduct the usual £5 each week and nothing on the 5th. Is that OK, Aesop and Lynne, or should I deduct the full £20 now?
I hope you're all managing to stay warm and dry and if not making any money are not having to spend much:beer:0 -

That's a great result from WeBuyBooks:T. I keep intending to try them again but they weren't very interested in paying much for the ones I tried last time. In fact most of them were of no interest at all to them:(0 -

As it will only make £5 difference to the month totals I don't see any probs with the £5 a week. Which ever way you do it I'd make a note so I don't get in a muddleAnother £42.10 on WeBuyBooks, that's me pretty much done book wise now, I'll need to come up with some other ways of making money!

Carbootcrazy I had a few that they pooh pooed as well but I've had access to lots of review copies of books for the past year or so and had given lots to my mum who has now given them back and they are still relatively new. Sadly I've come to the end of them and my supply will dry up shortly so I will have to get my thinking cap on!
Lynne, I was thinking I might increase my goal by £1 a day each month until I catch up with the rest of you!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Evening everyone
Can't believe it's nearly halfway through the month and I haven't posted anything! I have been reading most days though and some of you are doing brilliantly.
I have had a quick count up as follows
£5 Halifax reward
£20 Cashbackearners
94p Shopmium
£4.25 travel expenses
25p roadkill
£10 from dwp
£8.38 cashback from credit card
So £48.82 so far. Have a few more bits due but really need to get decluttering and selling again.
Keep up the good work everyone xx£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

I had a very slow start to the month but a good day today...
So far this month I've picked up the following:
£25 swagbucks
£104 eBay
£40 refund vouchers (Waterstones & accessorise)
£24 refund from Vodafone for a mistake
£10 John Lewis vouchers (credit card rewards)
£15 cex for my old Fitbit
So total so far: £218
I switched bank accounts last month so should be getting £100 credit soon. I can't believe I might actually make this goal! When I started I really didn't think I would! So exciting...0
