  • I've had no joy with the Free Postcode Lottery and check all the different ones on there every day:(. There's never been my postcode area (the first part of it) as a winner all the time I've been a member and I was seriously considering unsubscribing. Then yesterday one of the Stackpot winners' postcodes was at the other end of the hamlet where I live. So near and yet so far, eh? Might stick with it after all;)

I feel the same - was starting to wonder if my postcode is in there :rotfl: Not one prize to my area ever but then it's not costing me anything apart from a few minutes. Here's hoping we both get lucky eh ;)

do you know what? after being with him for years and never winning even £10, I was thinking of giving up. I know I will be gutted then if my postcode comes out but I don't think anyone in this street plays just me. I know people around me in the surrounding streets play as seen their postcodes come out.

    Evening money-makers

Congrats to all those managing to add to their totals and good luck to all those trying to sell on the bay of e :T

Brr - it's brass monkeys here today and blowing a hooley ! We actually had a brief snow shower this morning and there was a 'snow-bow' - beautiful :D

The bridge was closed today because some numpty ignored the 'no high-sided vehicles', went onto the bridge and was blown over across both up and down sides, totally blocking the bridge and causing loads of damage (been charge with dangerous driving). So poor DH has had to drive extra miles to another bridge = two extra hours on his night

As usual, I've been screened out of loads of surveys - some even on my demographics  - but managed to make £2.50.

Hope you all have a super Thursday

I thought of you, Lynne, when I saw footage of that overturned truck on the bridge. You must be having some pretty strong winds in your neck of the woods:eek:. Poor DH having all that extra work and frustration just through someone's stupidity.

Not sure if the threatened snow tomorrow/Friday is going to reach us, from the weather forecast map looks as if it just about misses us by a whisker. Now I've got myself into gear about doing that tabletop sale every Saturday I hope snow doesn't scupper my first week's plans.

When OH and I were struggling to take up the carpet and floorboards in the spare bedroom last week for the plumber to deal with our burst pipe we had to move a really big heavy wardrobe. It's heavy empty but it was crammed full of 'stuff' that had been pushed out of the way whenever I had a tidy up:o. Out of sight out of mind eh?;). We had to drag everything out before we could move it but I discovered all sorts of things in there that I'd completely forgotten we had. Nothing valuable but interesting enough to maybe sell at a tabletop or car boot sale:j
