I only posted about my woes because I was worried people would think I wasn't interested if I didn't post as much.
Well done on the eight years badge as well CBC - where does time go eh
Loved your post about the clear-out and declutter Aesop. For some reason it reminded me of the 'Where there's muck there's money' that my gran used to say so often. Sounds like this WIP could be quite profitable
Like CBC - I'm well impressed with all the efforts of the first week of the new year. Now we all have to keep it up - only another 51 weeks to go to 2018 :rotfl: Seriously, it's great to see you all taking on the challenge and I hope everyone does fantastically well. Don't forget that if you want to ask something please do - bound to be someone who can help or point in the right direction. The only 'silly' question is the one you don't ask
Hope you all having a super weekend

Well folks I'm a vintage member who has my 10 year badge lol!! However when I got that it made me wonder why I am not yet debt free. The good news is that I have not added to my debts for the last few years and am finally managing to turn the battleship around, slowly but surely:p
Much of this is due to wonderful folks on here - I really do believe this is one of the best and most inspirational threads in the whole of the MSE forums!:j
Anyway....Last night I couldn't sleep and was for some reason checking my EON account online....as you do:rotfl: found I had 756 EON points to convert to Tesco Club card points whohoo!!:D£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Congratulations on your 10 years on MSE, hummingbird and your 9, Aesop:beer:
Had an email this morning from Ziffit about a comp they are running for 5 prizes of £50. Closes next Sunday, 15th. I didn't read the full Ts and Cs but it looks as if you have to upload a photo (presumably showing your decluttering:think:) when you do a trade. If you're interested, check their website.0 -
Hi everyone
Sorry i haven't been on here for a few days, CBC hope your weekend has been easier than your previous few days, always better to get it off your chest then stew, i say. Lynne, hope things are getting easier for you each day.
Due to a grotty new year eve and a few days after my mojo felt like it was being dragged through sludge, thanks for the thought CBC so this weekend I vowed to take advantage of that eb@y listing offer, over 80 listings so far so we'll see how it goes.

Congrats on everyone's fund raising efforts. I've been laid low with a bug and had to cancel the mystery shops I had booked for last week. I got all despondent and decided I'd have to raid my savings to pay for a couple of upcoming bills.
I've had an ebay sale today for a profit of £3.37 and did a couple of surveys yesterday for 85p. I've got bids on a couple more auctions tomorrow, hopefully will be back to update with a bigger boost then.0 -
Big hugs to anyone feeling poorly at the moment or on the road to recovery, plus anyone who has temporarily (I hope) [STRIKE]lost[/STRIKE] misplaced their mojo:kisses3:
Here's to a great year for us all, when it finally kicks off in a few cases:beer:
Loads of eBay listing going on by lots of you, I wish I had your enthusiasm for it:o
When we were trying to lessen the effect of our 'flood' OH brought in a stack of newspapers from the recycling and one of them caught my eye as it was a local 'What's On' issue. I kept it aside and discovered a local tabletop sale that is held every Saturday morning and not all that far from me (in relative terms being so rural:(). Pretty low key, I've sold there in the distant past, but a reasonable regular clientele. Have added to my New Year Resolutions list (which was already pages long:o) to make the effort and sell there every single Saturday this winter. This is a challenge to myself so we'll see how well I stick to it. Have been having a good rummage today, all that moving stuff for the plumber to access the leak unearthed all sorts of stuff I'd completely forgotten about:o0 -
Healing wishes to all those not feeling well.
I have spent 2 days not full days, decluttering DS' room. I said to his dad don't show him what's in the basket as he will want it back. so he deliberately shows him what's in the basket. DS then says I remember playing with those.....
tough, they have left the house now.
decluttered more of his books to sell too.
just got to scan and work out whats going where and then can work out how much i have made so far.0 -
Evening everyone
Congrats to those with new badges :T It's a bit scary how quickly the time passes eh, especially when you're busy.
Good luck with your weekly sales CBC - you'll enjoy being back to organising some stuff to sell. Bet you're looking forward to the spring though, when your outdoor ones start up again
I've made £4 on regular scans and a couple of small surveys. At least still going forward eh.
Hope you all have a money-making Monday
