  • Hi all

I was so lazy yesterday, I did tidy the kitchen though and sorted my tin cupboard. I should really go through the fridge and see what's in there so nothing gets wasted.

DS1 has a cold and went to bed at about 9 last night, I have just been to see if he is well enough for work and he says he needs to be there, they were really busy yesterday. Bless him.

Working on the finances. Not great really, not because of Christmas but because of other things that happened over the past few months. Really need to get a grip on this in 2017.

Might put a load of washing in. Actually, no I might get on the spinning bike for 20 minutes first!

You lot are always so productive I feel like a lazy sloth - up and had breakfast. Now going to get dressed!! I want to vacuum downstairs today, do a load in the WM, more ironing (as ever), walk the dogs and am on standby if any paid stuff comes in between 10-3 each day but really pretty unlikely. S is making a den for him and Pip, our JRT and it's so cute! Back later with hopefully a bit more progress to report.

Morning all  and welcome to new and returning Flyladies.

Yesterday DH and I went to SW weigh-in and both of us have put on 9 lb between us (of which 6 were on me) without eating very much of the wrong stuff  so decluttering that and more will be my New Year x

Ooh. That's where it went. Thanks ionafan:D

Gym first thing. Now at work. Peace:T:T. No infanticide, but it was close. God bless tax returns and the NHS or we'd still be up north.:rotfl:

Must get the bathroom done this evening. My parents arrive on Saturday and I'm sure my mum owns white gloves. Or maybe that's just my own insecurities. It needs doing anyway.

No YS yesterday when I went trawling. Grrrrr. And no leftovers. I crave a turkey and cranberry sandwich. Instead I have an OOD tin of soup that needs eating. At least with guests over the weekend I should have some leftovers next week.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Tip run done (it was heaving!), post office and charity shop runs done, and now eating lunch.

WM on its third load and TD going round too. Chicken and chorizo stew in the slow cooker, and littlies are happily colouring in. Must must be productive until 3pm, at which point I have promised myself a bath with my new Neom bath oil :)

Was going to say morning but it's not! Shows how much I have done so far. I've been sleeping in until 10 the past 3 mornings. Have not done anything yet other than breakfast and shower then drink more coffee. Need to Hoover through the whole house, do bathroom and downstairs loo plus a tidy up of the carp in the dining room so having lost half the day best get started.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

P-pipe removed, down pipe given a proper clean with a bottle brush (yuk) p-pipe cleaned (yuk) and reattached, and only managed to turn the taps on once, forgetting .... The sink isn't draining any faster, so I've now started on the soda crystal thing. All the drains in the house done, bath, shower, four sinks ....

OH has done another load a washing and pegged it out, Kelpie's been for his weekly swimming lesson and a neighbour has given us all their spare chocolate. Rather good quality stuff, too. 'We were given it all, it's far too much for just two people.' Really? They obviously haven't seen the stash I lay in for just us two. Still, if it helps them out I'm happy to oblige with their decluttering.
    Better is good enough.
  • My kitchen looks fab!!!!! I didn't think I would have enough time this morning but kicked myself into action (with radio2) and was amazed what I got done in a short period. Will catch up with bathroom tomorrow and maybe clean out a kitchen cupboard or 2. Did have to do a quick tidy of sitting room as had DGS round who used every cushion in the house piled up to be rocks at the top of a volcano!

Looking forward to having a tidy house for Hogmanay.
