Piggers I am speechless that anyone should interfere and pass along information like that - but your own sister? Ye gods and little fishes!

Flying-wise I've managed to get the bedlinen washed and dried (used the TD I'm afraid; there's just no space for wet bedlinen). Sasha is being picked up today - don't know what time, her Mum will text me when she gets back from London - so we're just enjoying her company for now, plan is to blitz the bathroom with the steam cleaner tomorrow when there's no dog here.

I'm not planning to leave the house again til at least Tuesday.

I have been super busy today getting the house straight - we are setting off to a party at a friend's shortly, and sleeping over, so I was keen to ensure we came back to a spotless gaff

Just proves you can pick your friends piggers but not your family. So sorry to hear of little ones health problems I hope they are soon resolved.

I hope 2017 brings all you hope it will and is much kinder than the last year was for most.

My ironing basket is empty but I can't do laundry today or tomorrow (it's my grans fault she always said by washing on either of these days you would wash someone in or out of the next year) stuff will happen wether I do laundry or not but I don't want the guilt so never chance it.

I do hope all the poorlies or those worrying about poorly loved ones have much better health in the new year

Well, I now have everything done and can relax. Thanks to you all for the incentive. Cleaned out more kitchen cupboard/drawers, clean sheets on bed, meat marinating (have to drink rest of red wine!), hoovered and just have dining table to set for tomorrows dinner.

tomorrow, though, as it happens DS is Tom!

Could have gone round to a friends, they're partying tonight but I would be poor company, it all feels very odd.
