Have to agree with Dave. Not enough info. I know areas that have detached houses that are slummy areas, and others that are lovely areas.
I must admit I have never seen a detached house with no driveway though. (I bet someone comes along and posts a link to one now! :rotfl: )

Parts of West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire have detached houses for less than that.

Yep....it is.
Certainly some of the places mentioned are definitely ones that would need a good long "inspection visit" before deciding on whether to live there or no and cross-questioning of EA's there generally. Though one could get a pretty good idea by talking a virtual walk along the central shopping streets on Googlemaps Streetview and checking the shops out virtually.
We'll save OP the trouble and say - don't bother visiting Jaywick!0 -
