I need to make the girls keep their rooms tidy as they tend to get things out and leave them.
The main thing I need to work on is to get my lupus under control. I've had some beastly flare-ups this year, the latest and worst one, which is still ongoing, started when the GP tried me on Gabapentin. I was on it less than a month, and only a very low dose, but it didn't suit me at all.
Once that's done, I need to really put my big girl knickers on and start trying to cope with social situations. At present, I avoid them as best I can, and when I can't avoid, I "hide" behind Mr LW.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Lemontart, when I had my 2 hearing aids fitted, the first thing I did was burst into tears, as I could hear again, the poor woman fitting didn't know what to say or do, she just passed me some tissues, good luck and enjoy new sounds, bird songswere my thing I would sit in the garden on a chair and just listen, as I never knew the birds were singing.

Kazwookie I so agree about birdsong! I only have one hearing aid, as I couldn't afford two, but it made such a difference. My DH is very soft-spoken, and I could never understand half of what he said to me if he spoke while he was pushing my wheelchair (and thus was behind me) - sometimes I didn't even realise he'd spoken at all! The hearing aid helps that tremendously. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Nice idea for a thread!
I am going to continue in my mission to become debt free (again!).
Part of that is getting a grip on my budget.
Also, my most important thing is to not compare myself to others. So what if other people can spend £30 on food shopping for a family of 4, whereas i spend £100 on a family of 3?
They are not me, they dont have the same income, budget, family, ideas or life as me. So why do i feel like i am a failure unless i spend a tiny amount on food?
I like eating organic sometimes, i dont like shopping regularly in Aldi or Lidl...that doesnt make me a failure.0 -
I'm going to 'live' for every second of every day and find small and free things that make life a wonderful journey every day. I'm going to be 69 in January and am looking forward to a new little grandson early that month to get to know him and have fun with him and his big brother is very high on my 'to do' list and to stay as active as we always are, to keep up out weight loss which is going well for both of us and to stand in the light to enjoy life rather than stay in the comfortable shadows will be a challenge but might just be worth it!0

Cut down my paid work hours from 37 to 32 - work to live, not the other way round
Buy pre-loved / used whenever feasible
Make, make-do, mend, minimise, reduce, recycle
Get out of credit card debit and built some savings - paying a big vet bill just before Christmas means I need to squeeze every penny until the Queens eyes water!:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

Aaaargh. Couldn't remember my password to log so I've had to register as a newbie after 8 years. Whoops.
What a lovely thread.
Like a lot of other I have some weight to loose. I've managed to loose 2 stone last year and want to loose another 1 1/2 to be in the healthy bracket. This also ties in with keeping a check on my grocery budget and meal planning.
I'm generally quite good. We have a healthy budget to play with but doing slimming world it's quite easy to go overboard on yogurts etc.
I keep umming abd ahhing over starting get on OU degree. I really really want to do on eBay but keep putting it off.
I've also got loads of stuff to eBay for our holiday in 2018. Been saving hard for a good couple of years for this and this will also declutter the house as well.
Keep up better with friends. I see my family regularly but friends can sometimes be a bit forgotten.
I'm sure I'll return with more xx0
