Evening everyone,
PEPPAPIG I just want to say I hope you and DH have a fabulous day tomorrow and enjoy every minute of it. Would love to see a pic of your dress if that is possible my lovely xxxxxxxxxx
VULPIX glad your thumb and neck are much better. Sorry your DHs sons grandma has passed away. I keep trying to get rid of stuff so the kids don't have a massive sort out when I am pushing the daisies up
GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY oh blimey I did that last time I was on SW, I bought online a Greek Yogurt and Honey yogurt that was only 4 syns for a big pot, omg it was the loveliest yogurt I couldn't stop eating it, then when I finished it and went to throw away I realised it was full fat  and about 4 times the syns :rotfl: I agree with PEPPAPIG I wouldn't have thought of taking them back either
04624181 blimey you will be finished Christmas shopping by the time you are up and about haha

Cost now £3.48, and as I have bought 1, there is only 1 left:DA smile costs little but creates much0 -
GTQ- Im with the others, I wouldn't have thought of going back to the shop either. Its good that you maintained at SW too. Im going to give it a whirl when I get back from holiday.
046 - you might be out of action but you are steaming ahead with Christmas - you seem to have got some good bargains. Hopefully the plasterers will come and put the house back to norm today.
Vulpix- good news from Physio, now don't go and bu**er it all up again by doing too much! Its way too easy to do a bit more damage when you feel things are improving by going that extra 'mile' when you have a task in mind. Hope the situation with Mr Vs son is as well as it can be x.
Newthrift- how are things going? Hopefully bump will be making their appearance soon before it starts to get hot again.
Free- I LOVE Pierce Brosnan!!! Much as I love DH if he came a knocking I would be off like a shot lol! (DH knows this so he makes sure that no heart throbs come to the door lol!) The cheesecake is LUSH- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/food-and-drink/philadelphia-recipes/red-velvet-cheesecake/. Try it as a treat when everyone is there for lunch so that you're not tempted to stray too far from SW. Be warned it is very rich and VERY moreish! (And also ridiculously easy).
Peppa- CONGRATULATIONS to you both today! Hope it all goes to plan and that the sun smiles for you .
The ostrich feathers came yesterday so I have been able to finish the table decs off for DDs 21st. I have taken a pic of the one I had to finish and the rose I sprayed the other day as that has been hidden on top of the fridge since I did it. I have made other flowers in pink, gold and white spots, solid pink and white but they are on top of the wardrobe and Im not climbing to get them down so I will try to remember to post a pic when they are up and in situ for her party.
Hope they worklovin' this site!

I need to add some crystal beads around the roses for a bit of sparkle. I have made two of these and they are about 18" high.
The rose is 23" across. I need to make a few more smaller ones of differing sizes but as you can imagine, hiding them is pretty difficult, especially as I cant stack them up as that would damage the shapelovin' this site!
:j0 -
Oh wow MURIE they are totally fabulous, you really are so crafty (in the nicest sense of the word of course lol) and full of great ideas. DD's party is going to be amazing. I thought I did well putting a few stems together to make a bouquet for today
FREE I'll do my best for a pic - may have to cut my head off though unless I can get one from a decent distance lol.
VULPIX I second MURIE's instructions!
Just a quick drop in as it's the big day today, got a few butterflies now but looking forward to it. Thank you for the good wishes, you're such a lovely bunch. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Wow Murie, you are very clever.Amazing paper rose,I am very impressed. You really do go to town when you have a "bit of a do".
I made a similar cheese cake last night which was a disaster, cheesecake not evening. It was the Spanish tapas evening.I made paella, meatballs.patatas bravas and a butterbean dish. The cheese cake was supposed to be a Spanish theme with nectarines and sherry syrup.I burned the base!!!!!!! impressive when you dont even cook it.And the topping was horrible so I used some of my home made strawberry jam instead.I also pressed the base too tightly and could hardly cut the flaming thing.Anyhoo it was a lovely evening.
Peppa ,can't wait to hear all about your day today. It has been pointed out to me that in a previous post I should have said it's NO fun falling over as an adult.Soz.:o
DD2 is wanting to quit her job FGS ! All her friends are going to the carnivals every Saturday and she feels she is missing out.Grrrrrrrr.
Today I am clearing up from last night then loading up for the fabled hipster sale tomorrow.I am having a sleep over at DD1's tonight.
GTQ it's too late to go back now.If you hadn't looked at your receipt you would be none the wiser.
0462 I picture you lay in bed in a Christmas bubble.Plaster dust gently falling all around ,mayhem and chaos throughout the house.:rotfl:I hope you are getting a little better every day, when you finally get up you might wish you hadn't.Have you read the woman who went to bed for a year by Sue Townsend? Good concept but not the ending I wanted.
I spent ages on pinterest yesterday looking at Christmas stuff and the elfilicious board.I am getting the Christmas tingle.
Suppose I had better get up and resist picking at leftovers.;)

Poppa, hope you have a blast today.
New, bump must be thinking of joining you properly now. Heard today about a girl who suddenly went into labour 3 months ago, she was only 6 months pregnant, bub weighed 1lb 9oz, discharged this week, 9lb :eek: What the heck were they feeding her? All looking good though which is the important thing.
With regard to my dilemma, decided that the employee keeping their job was the important outcome!A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Vulpix- I do enjoy 'a bit of a do'! My theory is that everyone has enough crud to deal with on a day to day basis that when something to celebrate come along, such as a birthday, I like to push the boat out. family and friends enjoy the themes (I think/hope!) and it gives everyone something to look forward to.
hey don't worry about the cheesecake- mine looked so messy (if you have seen the IG photos you will know what I mean), but that is partly DS's fault for jumping on it before it was set. I very often get things wrong when Im doing a meal, and as we have 3 family members with Asperger's who' tell it as it is' Ive learnt to be thick skinned lol. Your meal sounds lovely- I love tapas and I always think that as long as the company is good it doesn't matter if the food doesn't always go to plan x
I bet you could wring DDs neck about wanting to quit her job- at that age they just want to live in the moment don't they?
Good luck with the Hipster sale tomorrow- I hope come home with a wad of cash x.
GTQ- whatever they were feeding the baby has certainly worked its magic. Its lovely to hear of things like that happening. Im glad you are more settled with your decision over the sports shop issue- you are obviously more honest than I am as I wouldn't have even considered going back an option x.
Free- hope you are enjoying the peace and quiet xlovin' this site!

Was making a Christmas cake earlier with iPod on shuffle. Just what you need when Christmas songs come on suddenly, feeling Christmassy now:j:jA smile costs little but creates much0
