Hi All,
Sorry I have not been on for a while. Life has taken over. DD and I are full of colds. Still off work, feeling better as am on very strong tablets. We managed to get the tree up this past weekend, latest it has ever been! All gifts are wrapped, cards signed just need 1 more voucher and cash to put in money wallets. DH is doing the food shop as he cooks on Christmas Day. I ordered all the cans of fizzy pop, shloer, apple juice etc to be delivered yesterday. Non of us drink alcohol so its always a cheap do here LOL. Ordered some bits to do a bit of baking with DD, we have planned to do it on Saturday so it will still be fresh to give as gifts on Monday.
Hope everybody is ok and feeling better soon. Safe Journeys to all that are travelling. Peppa your pics are fab and your crafts are fantastic. Happy belated birthday to the girls x Glad the party went well Vulpix, Mrs I you must be over the moon with your family being with you for Christmas. Jakes-Mum how annoying about your package, they lost one of our packages from Amazon too. Luckily Amazon have sent another one out free of charge as its a gift for DS. Mandco hope DS feels better soon, it always happens when you have got so much to do. I have dd off today but managed to get all wrapping done yesterday phew. Free hope you are ok, kids school did a reverse advent and we all sent things in for the local food banks. Made me think of doing one as a family next year.

Well Royal Mail seem to have lost the envelope for my bestie. A week after it being posted it still hasn't arrived. Will log a claim for delay (which should give me six first class stamps) and hope it turns up but now doubt it. Will have to re send in New Year although it included one of my own photo calendars and not sure I have a spare of that :mad::(

Hope everyone is ok. 2 shifts down 4 to do. Got a banging headache. Hope some food fixes it.

Sorry to hear that StokieBecks, I had an amazon package go missing so they resent another. Tracking is saying it is still in transit but both packages are actually at the Post Office in my local town. There are 2 other post offices closer to me but for some reason they ended up there. May be worth your Bestie ringing around the local post offices?

So today has been a pretty much doing nothing. Managed to go out in the car for a bit, went to a new place for lunch,Tim Horton, Was shocking service and the food we ordered was disgusting! we got a full refund. The staff were stressed but it wasnt overly busy. Pity as we were really looking forward to it

3 more sleeps until my favourite day! I love Christmas eve and we have got matching PJS for us all to wear. Cannot wait. I love Christmas day too but the excitement of Christmas Eve is amazing!!!

0462,we went to the new Tim Hortons when it opened on Monday.We only had drinks and Timbits in the drivethrough but we had a long wait as they ran out of coffee.They gave us some complimentary Timbits.There were a lot of staff but they seemed overwhelmed.We only went as it is a reminder of our trip to Canada.

We went to Southport today and there was a shooting in the street!
