A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a Christmas event please? Every year we try to do an overnight trip where the kids get to experience something magical ... we went to Lapland UK last year, we've done the Polar Express, we've exhausted all the local events, any recommendations please? My eldest son is 10 (youngest 6) so I've a feeling this will be his last believing year sob!

I forgot yesterday but in the range I saw coca cola xmas wrap
also picked up an a5 winter wonderland activity book £1 - in the regular colouring book section not with the xmas stuff it has lot of xmassy colouring pages, crosswords, word searches and sudoku puzzles would make a nice stocking filler or hamper filler for adults or even kids as it has the answers in the back.

Its a little too early yet but taz asked this morning when we can put the xmas decs up :rotfl: He wasn't impressed when I said we had to wait but we've compromised and agreed I'll sort out some halloween decs to put up this week instead.

Nic we have these elves(not from this seller but the same ones)

They are quite big so none of the elf on the shelf accessories the range had fit but the elf cam looks like it could be quite useful. 2 of the big hits last year with taz were wrapping gifts for santa/rudolph - 1/2 wrapped carrot & elf tangled in tape/ribbon and the elves made breakfast xmas shapes cut out of pancakes covered in sprinkles and milk with a candy cane in
