    Time to find me again
  • Hi all, I caught up for a couple of pages after my last post but again haven’t managed to catch up completely – it’s almost impossible at the moment! I’ve just dropped Wiggle off for his first session at pre-school, I know he’s been going to nursery for 9 months and it’s essentially the same thing but it feels more grown up somehow. He also looked so cute in his uniform. :) Squeak is doing better as well and is a bit happier in the daytime when he’s awake now so I might be able to sneak on here a bit more often! With this weather I’m feeling a lot more Christmassy, they even played a Christmas song on the radio the other day (to annoy people I think) and I got all excited! As I was too ill to enjoy Christmas last year I’m mega excited about this one! Those of you who said you’d like to steal the 12 dates idea – do it! I think it’s a lovely present and means spending some time together.

I hope you’re all doing ok, hopefully I can catch up properly soon.

sammy ah I’m glad it sounds like 3yrs is a good age gap. I think it’ll be a bit tricky doing things in the beginning but hopefully as they get older it’ll get easier.

Welcome loulabelle, I really feel for you with your pregnancy, I was ill the whole way through both of my pregnancies so I know how rough it is. I can’t imagine on top of other problems too, you’re being a great mummy already and it will be worth it.
  • Afternoon everyone, I have started the House and Holidays plan this week from Organised Christmas, I usually do the Grand Holiday Plan but find cleaning this early it all needs doing again before Christmas. So my Christmas Planner is all filled in and up to date and the forms from the plan filled in. I now know exactly what everyone is getting so I'm halfway there already.

BTW did anyone see that The Sun did a piece on the Gingerbread candle from HB they were saying people are going nuts over it being as good as Yankee but £20 cheaper, so they will sell out real quick I should imagine. Hope everyone has a good weekend x

PRINCESSKITTY I bet you find he'll grow up a lot at pre-school. My little DGS always seemed like a baby at nursery but was a proper little boy within weeks of being at pre-school. It's such a lovely time, enjoy it as much as you can. Glad that Squeak seems to be happier too.

FREE that's all we need, a national newspaper creating demand for the HB candles  Must look for mine asap. I am def in awe of you knowing what you're getting everyone, I still haven't got a clue about most of them. I keep thinking if good pressie ideas but I don't have the right people for them :D
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

  • So the latest with our move is the chap we are buying from called me today and his solicitor has sent him a letter to say within two weeks. I thought I was doing quite well downsizing from a 3 bedroom double garage house to a 2 bedroom bungalow with a shed. That was until his call, I knew he was leaving some bits as he had too many memories and wanted to move in with family after losing his wife. Well after chatting away about the bungalow he was saying about keys etc and said his suitcase is packed, he's only taking his clothes, He is leaving everything from tea bags to a lawn mower!!! My DS thinks it's hilarious that I have to rethink again what we need to take. All I can say is that it's a lovely clean house and the man knows I will CS what is not needed. I don't think I will see Christmas this year for boxes

    Good Morning All,
So sorry I have not been on, its been the first week back at school and it has be sooooo busy. Brought a chunk of work home with me to do over the weekend. Its honestly flown by. On the christmas front, I have seen an emoji Christmas bed spread for DD that I will order near payday.
Other news is we Got ourselves a new car! A Landrover Freelander 2!! It is a dream to drive and we love it. Its an automatic so it is much better for my back too.
DS has not been back to school yet, he has been so poorly with a nasty virus that we have had to visit hospital twice with him! I picked up a gingerbread candle when I was last in Home Bargains but will pick up another today, just to make sure I have enough in lol. Its raining again! It does make me feel like Christmas is near and I love being all snug and warm in the house but I hate having to go out in it .
  • Evening everyone, a couple of things I want to mention in case anyone is interested, M&S have tins of Christmas Shortbread half price £4.50 from £9.00 (I got one for my DD2s OH parents and Groupon are doing a deal for Christmas Toilet Roll (9 rolls) and Christmas Kitchen Roll I ordered some of these as well then that's another thing I can tick off the list.

PEPPAPIG I know, your halfway there when you know what you are getting everyone its so hard when they are grown ups who buy themselves whatever they want when they want

PAVLOVS_DOG thanks for that will have a look later

GIRLINAYELLOWDRESS you would think his family would sort out his furniture for him, I don't know if I would be happy with that on top of moving my own stuff

CHRISSY the first baby in the family for 17 years wow she is going to be spoilt, my girls have asked for lush bathbombs for Christmas I was hoping to get them a fair few but if they have gone up in price it might be less than I thought

04624181 glad you are happy with your new car, DD2 drives an automatic because it is easier on her back too. I drive an automatic because I cant drive a manual :D I hope DS is beginning to feel a bit better

It cost almost £11 for 3 bath bombs and they weren't the expensive ones either .
