I'm sure there was the same speculation last year about whether it was going to happen a week earlier than it did.

Cheer up folks, it's not as bad as the year they cut the discount from 75% to 70% :eek:

I would also suspect that there is an effort to ensure that as many returns from the Xmas period are received and re-distributed which takes time to process.

Depends when they were given the statement. If it was last night then 48 hours wouldn't cover Friday.

I agree about the greed. I have been going for years to Bristol or Bath. It used to be good fun but not anymore. I think next wednesday for sure

Hi curl girl what TV show said that this morning ? I'm hoping it is next wednesday and not a different day loads of people are saying its going to be a different day ( I can't do because of other commitments) don't know if it is all speculation or if something has been said!
And I agree about the greed everyone is talking about, Like some of the other people I've went for years now a sort of tradition , just to pick up a few extras for gifts for my daughters and their friends for throughout the year it helps when there is lots of parties etc but I don't go nuts some people clear shelves , I will be disappointed If it is a different day but it's not the end of the world.

Thanks for taking the trouble to find this, but there was an earlier thread about general Bootsing that was closed down, for reasons I never did understand.

I agree with others, all the fun has gone out of it for me too this year. I feel like not bothering with it, whenever it might be! I can visualise it being a total free for all with the amount of publicity it seems to be getting this time.
