We shut down over Xmas, so I will actually have days off, as opposed to the weekend when I also try and catch up with loads of stuff that I don't have time for in the week.

I should hopefully have a strong finish!

    This weeks numbers are:
    57.19 km (roughly 35 miles)

So far this year ive run 1,490 km (so I'm not on course to run 2017 km this year, unless I run 10.5km EVERY DAY)

Its not going to happen but just like @Bugslet said the challenge overall has got me moving more

    This weeks numbers are:
    54.11 km (roughly 34 miles)
  • After my 7 mile walk with the dog this morning, I only have about 7 more miles to reach the 3000 :T

    +39.4 for me

    1821.1 total - 178.9 to go

My aim now is to try and complete this in the next 4 weeks (ish) so I can 'stand down' over crimbo, get fat and start again next year (more fell walking rather than going all out on distance though). Works out as being ~44.5 miles per week which is achivable.

Will update with my mileage total tomorrow, getting quite a big week this week in terms of mileage, but today I took a late decision, to plod around Winter Hill and Rivington. Bit iffy towards the end where it started to rain and I lost light rapidly whilst still up near the Pike going back towards the barn (in fact, completely lost light towards the end of the gardens, good job I know my way around!) but enjoyed it and was a different experience being so cold and snow covered! Been a while since I went up.. Some pics from the walk:

If the weather is good, chances are I will go up again next Sat (morning walk rather than afternoon... dont want to be walking around in the dark again!)

1936.5 miles for the year. Hopefully another 2 weeks and I should be there. I have a 25 mile race on Sat next week, so should get there.

Had company meetings, tummy ache and a neighbours funeral so pre-occupied this week.

My diet has been poor this week too (trifle, cakes, chocolate, crisps and fizzy pop all being consumed).

    Keep moving :j
