I presume it's walking...running. On the other hand without information I feel it's only fair for us to make our own story up. I'm going for you competing in the National Disco Championships :D

My disco days are forty years behind me as well as about a dozen pints of heavy ;)

I managed a few hours in my garden as well as my usual 9 miles of walking (I don't run) that day and it just hit me how tired I was :o

Had a rather good week this week and if it wasn't for spending the day slow cooking in a field watching tractor pulling, I would have done even better, but far too hot, tired to do any more today!

    43.7 miles, 1414.63 today.

Most of my mileage this week was made up of a 36 mile race that I did on Sat. So ended up with 58.9 miles.
Up to 1,411.6 miles for the year to date. Low mileage week for me coming up though as I need to recover properly.

I had a 20 mile day yesterday but that has had a huge impact on todays walking, I am much slower and the walks are shorter than usual, I doubt if I will get up to my usual 9 miles :o

Very quiet at work last week so I took a few days off and missed this - it's ruined a whole tranche of imagination there Wiz, I had you down as a John Travolta look a like. Oh well:p.

I've done a few 8 miles but I don't think I could manage them every day. My achilles seem to be causing me permanant problems now _ I really ought to go and see someone....manana. Did oodles in the garden, including the dreaded back slope, bit of a mare, very steep, clearing a load of vegetation and dealing with tree roots. Just got to plant it up now.

Will update steps at the end of the month.

1342 at the end of August, which gives me a whle 6 miles buffer. Look, it's a buffer, I'll take the slight edge:rotfl:

If you were suddenly going to go and do 6 miles then you'd think that's actually quite a long way! Its quite an investment in time to do it.

I'm now at 1435 miles 11099 floors and 3,290,096 steps. I've only got a little bit of a buffer but it should be enough to see me through quiet days/weeks. My count should also pick up significantly towards the end of the year as I get lots more overtime in work.
  • August was a big month for me with 322.6 miles covered 16,564ft climbed and 50,800kcal burned. My bigest day was 21.74 miles and unsurprisingly my smallest day was the next day at 6.13 miles.
I'm now on 2176.2 for the year after 2 days of September done.

I need to average just under 7miles a day to hit 3000 for the year.

More miles run than I expected this week: 31.4
Not too bad considering its a recovery week for me.
Brings me up to: 1,443.1 miles for the year.
