Equally impressed by neitherI agree, I'd say the difference between the classes is:
upper class - lavish and luxuriate
middle class - save and maintain
working class - spend and enjoy
I'm very frugal, so my lifestyle suits middle class anyway.
So you've learnt nothing then :rotfl:
OP - 0 MSE Housing Board - 1Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0 -

Probably the biggest load of nonsense posted on this board in months.
And that's saying something....0 -

I was at a friend's home (who also happens to be a colleague) and do you know what impressed me about her home....the fact that although she has a cat her Christmas tree is still intact. We also played the cereal packet game and I was seriously impressed about how low some people could go.
HAHA I have photos of me playing that game! Oh the shame lol... I was in the final two though!
Think this is an obvious wind up thread, but hey ho, wanted to add.
We have lawyers at work who live in terraced houses. Even Madonna's London place is terraced. BUT they're worth millions. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
One of our Partners dresses more casually than the rest of us oiks. I remember a barbecue one night (we all went on a company jolly to the Lake District). He said 'oh dear, I think I took the casual dress code a bit too literally'. (Scruffy old shirt, shorts, probably flip flops or something.)
If you want people to be your friend because of what you can show them, buy them or impress them with, they won't truly be your friend. I prefer not to judge a book by its cover but by the pages/chapters inbetween.
Hoping this is a troll post for once as I think it rather sad how skewed your judgement and perception of people and society is otherwise...

No, I'm mid 20's and born in UK. Can i make an assumption of my own that everyone questioning the merit of or ridiculing my question either lives (or was born) outside of London or would consider themselves working class?0 -

Well, you can make it but you'd be wrong. As you seem to be about other things.0 -

You can make whatever assumption you want.
In my case you'd be wrong on both counts.
I'm in two minds as to whether this thread is real or just trolling, so I'm out now.0
