The chocolate is not for my children! Well, DS will get one of them. Football coach said he could use some help getting a small gift for each player - me thinking he just meant the under 8's, maybe 15 boys, volunteered.

Ah, he meant all the under 11's from nursery group upwards

Have been to wilco's and returned with £75 worth of sugary carp, some decongestant tablets and vitamin C chewies.

I'm having my first coffee of the day - how did I miss that? Then will whizz through kitchen and DR and I too must get my assignment sorted!

    Welcome back kazmeister xx

    Phew! I've been busy.

Kitchen all done, except the fridge. I'll see to that while I'm making dinner later. Rehomed lots, cleared all the tops and wiped them. Sorted my expanding pile of cold remedies, put DS kit into wash and shined the sink. Even mopped the floor!

DR also sorted. I do have 2 gibble baskets in there although one is Xmas stuff and one (full of learning logs from nursery!) we are going to sort next week while the kiddies are off.

Even tidied the garage, although still to sort a pile of DD colouring books and so on. But I've wiped down my desk and the kiddie table, and the tv cabinet. Found a home for the chocolate mountain until required.

Hallway is a bit of a tip, need to empty the mop bucket and put the glass recycling bag away (actually, I ought to put it in the car and actually recycle it!).

So other than cleaning up after dinner, and a few dot-to-dot-spots I'm don't flying for the day. I have a couple of cards to write then lunch and then an afternoon with my studies!

Ooo I'm very virtuous today! I even remembered to ask at school if they need snacks brining in for class parties! Go me!

  • Busy busy morning. All dailies done, kitchen seen to and is now sparkling :A, post office run done and all necessary bits and pieces for Christmas parties etc dropped off at school and pre-school.

I have also cleaned the fire, vacuumed through downstairs, cleaned the downstairs toilet and put the shower head to soak in Cillit B*ang. It was grim.

Now for a quick spot of lunch before heading off to the nativity, I am teary already xx

I swear dog hair breeds, even when the dog isn't here!! :rotfl:
Tell me about it! I'm still finding Cassie-hair, and Cassie went home on 26th November! :D

Ted should be picked up later, but I don't know what time; his owner will text me hopefully, so that I can pack his bag ready to go.

I'm feeling decidedly rough again, so Flying will be on an ad hoc basis here; but Mr LW has carefully dusted the book shelves and is currently running the sheep-onna-stick round the tops of the walls and light fitments.

I shall try and vacuum when Ted's gone; he hates the vacuum.

I haven't been totally idle - I made a Shepherd Spy for tonight's dins (just need to cook it) using up the last two carrots; Ted got the tops and tails, as he loves carrot. :o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Well I got a small amount of flying done this morning before work, got the DW on, did a bit of a tidy and between OH and I we got together a box and 2 bags of stuff for the charity shop!

Saw my patient who had the adverse reaction on Friday and he made me feel a bit better about it, although I won't stop being stressed until everything is completely healed and better! Good for the waistline though, being stressed. I only managed 2 meals over the weekend and am struggling with lunch today!

Still haven't started the Christmas shopping, really must get a couple of things ordered today to make sure they turn up in time!!
  • Thanks for the thread Valli :A and lots of hugs for you and yours xx

I'm in as much as the hectic 'last week of term before Christmas' will allow!! Also out to see Frank Turner (Mrs MP :D) on Weds and the new Star Wars film on Thurs. May spend all of next weekend alternating between catch-up-flying and sleeping :rotfl:

Hugs for all who want or need them xx

I think I sort of realised that, Bossy! Lovely that the coach wants all the kids to have something, though.

Spent the morning wrapping bay of e parcels, realising I had rather a lot of stamps so postage didn't set me back anything like as much as it should have done, and then queuing at the post office to get them topped up. *fling* Hurrah! I also realised that I rather stupidly took a massive pile of padded envelopes down to the scrapstore recently before deciding to ebay the stuff. How scarey is it that I still had enough brown paper and padded envelopes to send 12 parcels, and I've got some left over? That wasn't the first massive pile of paddeds that have gone to the scrapstore in the last couple of years, either. (And OH helpfully offered me some of his, too.)

Then busy flying here. Reorganised the fridge so we can find stuff and lodgers can have some space in there as well. Shower room sparkled. Superking turned around and dysonning done where carpets needed it. Just about to start on the kitchen.
    Better is good enough.

You didn't by any chance see a lad with green hair getting helped out of the front mosh crowd after being :o ill did you. That was ds2 not sure what happened but his claim to fame now is that he puked up directly in front of frank after being pulled over the front barriers by security:o:o he did get given a set list by the drummer for missing the last couple of songs and had a photo with him after promising not to do it again:rotfl:
I'm tempted by the film at the cinema tomorrow the lads are both going but I think I'll wait for the DVD.

Back on flying sorry frank turner sends me off topic sometimes- I've made 30 bags of reindeer food and now I'm making lasagne and wizzing round cleaning glitter up
