I'm sort of in but I doubt much flying will be done. House is good now as blitzed for BIL staying till Tues. We're having a day in London tomorrow so no flying but no mess created......
Assessments Wed, Thurs and Fri and still 4 to write up, sigh. So who knows.

Welcome Allie and thanks for list writers and general encouragers.
Hope you have a better week FBO

  • Thanks for the thread Valli :A and lots of hugs for you and yours xx

I'm in as much as the hectic 'last week of term before Christmas' will allow!! Also out to see Frank Turner (Mrs MP :D) on Weds and the new Star Wars film on Thurs. May spend all of next weekend alternating between catch-up-flying and sleeping :rotfl:

Hugs for all who want or need them xx

I need to buy 100 selection boxes this week

Really?!! Your children must be chocolate addicts if they're all for them! ;)

Thanks for the lists Natty and Valli and (((hugs))) all round.

All but two items sold on the bay of e, so that's two full boxes of attic gibble leaving via the post office tomorrow - hurrah! Things are starting to take shape here, finally, which means I'm also now starting to see dust. It's obviously been there all along, but because the house was so full of stuff I didn't notice it. I suppose it's an improvement of sorts. I'm aiming for Level 1 on each room this week and feel very virtuous because the oven is still sparkly.

Welcome back, Kazmeister. You sound very organised.

And, oh whoops, one of of the panto people turned up today, 24 hours before I expected him. Oh yes he did ....
    Better is good enough.

Great start to the day, we have a power cut. Luckily the first brew of the day was done and breakfast was cereal so no problems there. Beyond that everything is going to be a bit of a blur. No hot water so not even a wash at the sink and without my morning shower and hair wash I can't function

My timetable for the week so far is

    Monday day off
    Library - books for assignment
    Chemist - tablets long overdue
Post Office (in the opposite direction!) - cards
    Assignment
    Dinner with friends

    Tuesday
    Work - from home am
    College Peterboro - pm

    Wednesday
    Work

    Thursday
    Work

    Friday day off
    Assignment

    Saturday
    Assignment

    Sunday
    Family lunch

Right best I go and see what I can do for now, hope you all have a good day

  • Good Morning all

I am in, thank you so much for the list Valli. Gentle hugs and prayers being said for you xx

DD still not feeling too well today, she went to bed at 6pm last night with a hot water bottle and slept until 6.30am. It's her first nativity today so she is going to school (I have packed my tissues!) but we will see how she goes tomorrow.

I am pleased it is the kitchen today, I am good at doing the basics but need a kick up the behind to do other things. The oven WILL be cleaned this morning! Got a small WM load to do, which I will put on next. Then school and pre-school run, post office trip and home to walk the dog before cracking on.

    Have lovely days all x

    Thanks for the thread Valli!

I'm in again, not that I've been keeping up very well, the house is a tip after a busy weekend. I swear dog hair breeds, even when the dog isn't here!! :rotfl:

It will be a slow start again for me as we are less than 2 weeks before Christmas, 8 days prior to submission of a 3000 word assignment that I haven't started yet

Welcome back kazmeister  Hope you get your power back on soon so that you can have your shower.
I've got a 2500 word assignment to write too - it's lovely to have company! My week looks very similar to yours :o

    Welcome also to allie23.

Bossy, I think the smell of 100 selection boxes in my house would put me off chocolate for life :p

GWS to your DD, and enjoy the nativity, ATB.

Thanks for the lists Valli- thinking of you and yours.

    Welcome to Allie!

I'm focusing on doing as much as I can cope with this week. Need to do a bit of decluttering etc in most rooms and a decent clean if I can.

  • Ok start. Out the door 0700, DW on and the kitchen didn't look like a bombsite. Just having my Oat so Simple in the office before getting my head down. I need to review the tax returns I did in a haze last week. I didn't want to submit them in case I'd done something in a fog so I'll do that before the boss arrives.

I'm not going back to running club tonight so I'll manage an hour or so of flying before my meeting at 2000 tonight.

    Have a great day everyone's
