    #18 checking in for August's payments - a total of £640.75 in OPs :)

This month I have also not had my payments automatically re-calculated to take account of OPs (mtge is IO) so going forward there will now be a teeny-tiny OP in the standard monthly payment figure most months :) (which I am not going to take account of) :)

    Thanks hidden :)

  • I, #46 checking in after a few months absence.
So, at the end of April a restructure at work led me to take a redundancy package - leaving was way overdue!
I started a new job mid June, but not yet had a 'normal' salary, so waiting for the end of this month to see what I can overpay.
Missed a couple of months and made a couple of 'gestures from Tesco bank interest as follows:
    May - £0; June - £0; July - £7.29; August - £7.54.
Total to date £5087.86, 67.84% of target.
Think I'll struggle to hit target this year as we are saving for an extension .... but lets see how we get on!

    Good luck everyone!

  • Number 15 - Miss Pinky checking in.

Another large chunk paid off this morning. I have a small amount of savings put aside for emergencies so tapped into this to make this payment, my reasoning for this is that I can only pay in 10% of the opening amout per year and this will be the most I can pay in (obviously) as the rate will drop dramatically next year (I think, not sure what year they take into consideration for this 10% amount) but I reckon it will drop to approx £6K next year rather than the £8k this year so want to take advantage of this!

Anyhoooo, a long way around of saying I have paid off another £2.5k this morning. This leaves me to find another £2.5k before March..... while also getting married in January (Gretna Green so not expensive) and then a 2 week caribbean cruise for our honeymoon but this will be shared costs with the OH.

    Here's hoping I reach the target! :j
