hi
August payment of £652.09
thanks0 -
Hello all...
I know we are 2/3 of the way through 2017 already but... Please can I join in with this MFW 2017 thread? I'm about to start a diary and plan to overpay my mortgage by £400 per month so potentially £2000 by the end of December 2017. My mortgage payment goes out 15th of the month so August still to go out.
Thanks a million and good luck all...
Jen xxx
Welcome! You're #125.0 -
Good evening - I know that it is late in the year - but I would like to join the MFW.
I drew down my mortgage last Thursday and completed the following day.
My mortgage is £123k. As I have to buy all the various bits and pieces for the house, I am going to set myself a modest overpayment target of £1,200 for the remainder of the year.
I am hoping that I will be able to clear more than this - but want to be reasonable to start off with.
And I made my first overpayment today of £100, so already on my way.
Thanks
Congrats on the purchase!You're #126.

Hi all No. 127 checking in.
May, June, July - £100
Aug - £175 - our fixed rate has finished, time to increase the SOP!
Making 2017's OP to £1,775.
Well Disney and France have now been done. Fab timeNow to pay off the credit cards and work out what's left, before aiming for my £3K target.

I've made another £15 overpayment today after getting some cashback from Quidco to spend. Seems very small fry against the mortgage balance, but I guess that every little bit helps in the long run.0 -
