Hi, 116 with op of £700 for August.
I'm nearly at my 10% for the year so after next month there will be no more oping for me - gutted! Maybe I will save for Christmas and next year's holiday.
Changing interest rate end of December. There may be a set-up fee. I can save up for this too.
Hope you are settling in well hiddenshadow!

  • Good evening - I know that it is late in the year - but I would like to join the MFW.

I drew down my mortgage last Thursday and completed the following day.

My mortgage is £123k. As I have to buy all the various bits and pieces for the house, I am going to set myself a modest overpayment target of £1,200 for the remainder of the year.

I am hoping that I will be able to clear more than this - but want to be reasonable to start off with.

And I made my first overpayment today of £100, so already on my way.

    Thanks
