A lot quieter than Friday and Saturday, unless there's an event on.

agree - we normally fly home on Friday and so leave before the weekend crowds arrive, this trip we fly home on Saturday and I'm realising that that means our last night is a Friday night and that's not necessarily going to be ideal for us...we kind of like our last night being a bit more quiet in terms of crowds, etc.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

5 nights not long enough if solely flying all that way to Vegas.

If part of an extended trip including other places, then that's a different matter.

We have done a 4 night trip in the past, not ideal but if thats the only way to get a Vegas fix ;)
  • we normally have Monday to Friday on the strip then go downtown for the rest of our trip witch includes the weekend. saves us a few $ as the Friday and Saturday prices on the strip is increased by a lump.

Never heard of carharrt but I just googled carharrt and Las Vegas and it brought up quite a lot of locations

Has anyone done battlefield Vegas? Other half is desperate to go but shootings not my thing. Would it be boring for a partner who's just watching or possibly just firing one or 2 guns?

in a manor of speaking, you shoot your load (ammo) very quickly! ;);) :A

I use the Gun Store on Tropicana each year...
If you had 50 rounds with the MP5, you will get through that in about 90 seconds..
Colt 1911 handgun - 20 rounds, half that....

2 years ago after a big win, I got discounted ammo rates by being cheeky, and spent about $364 on 9mm / .223 ammo, we was out of the range within 15 minutes..

My wife used to splash out $50, and get 1 clip with the AR-15 rifle (pink!!), and 1 clip in the Glock 9mm... But last 2 years, she just watch's...
As said, its over too quickly, so she is far from bored!!

Does anyone know if the rooms at Excalibur have a speaker that you can plug phone/iPad into to play music? If so is it all rooms or just recently refurbished ones? Tried searching online but can't find the info
