I had read yesterday afternoon bit to take in. Budget wise was looking at around £100 a night give or take a little. I signed upto Mlife and myvegas last night.

Come to the conclusion the Mlife offers I got were rubbish :(
    each had $50 resort credit....
But they were 2 night comp (sun-thu) in standard rooms, and Bellagio/Aria had no comp, just $65 rate for the rooms.....

Emailed a host at the Lux yesterday before I even noticed the new batch of Mlife offers, luckily for me, my cheek paid off :):)
5 nights in Lux, 3 nights I pay for at $12 a night + 2 comp on the thurs/fri nights (had to leave that 72hr gap cos of the MC comp)
Was offered the Cleo room, but I went back with a few cheeky comments and got the Pyramid Queen suite instead :)
Plan will be to try my super luck when we check-in, and see if I can blag the Premier Suite (that's my goal!!!!)
Same applies for MC, we got spa suite already, but gonna try my best cheek to get the Diamond suite! :D

True saying, never hurts to ask! Got lucky again ! :D

Heres the latest (although probably overshot budget of £1700 for the 3 of us)...
    £355 each on DUB-LAX Flights
£21 each on Ryanair to DUB flights (15kg lug)
£50 (£46 after TCB) - $20 handshake to upgrade to Suburban or Yukon ;);) - 1 Day - 1 Way Chevy Tahoe car hire (Avis)
£60 Days Inn room in Fullerton 1st night..

myVegas - LP exchange for 1 night MC (wifes name), hope to get resort fee wavied, and link to my booking so auto upgrade to suite or slip $20 ;);) - possible fee of $33 / $20

£49 - 2 day car hire with Alamo - full size, $20 handshake to garage guy to take convertible.... (£44 after TCB)

3 Nights suite full comp in MC + $200 Resort credit

£158 - 7 day car with Dollar - standard size SUV - $20 handshake and hope to get upgrade to Expo/Yukon or Surb (dollar guys not so easy with the handshake as found in the past) - £150 after TCB

    $12 + $33rf x3 for 3 nights Suite in Luxor + 2 Full comp nights.
No mention of RC, but will try my luck anyway! :D

Wheelin & dealin! love it! :D now if only I could make the dollar get better for us all!! :D

stuie34 -you always amaze me with your Wheelin & dealin- i just wish i was half as good at the money saving end of things!

hope you dont mind my asking but you mention about emailing a
    host at the lux-
do hosts give you there email address? or do you have a prior realionship with them?
what sorta things would someone say?(any tips needed really !!)
Dunno if it helps at all but im pretty sure there are 2 comp nights at the luxor via myvegas(though selected dates which may -may not help)

kind regards and best of luck with the money saving !!:T

lol, I save money getting to Vegas, not the same when I get there!! :D:D
Although, plan this year is to Win BIG on the tables/slots, listen to the good guy sitting on my shoulder who says "put money in pocket and play again tomorrow" :D:D

Google search of hotel + hosts = might show u page with Hosts for that casino (exec host, casino host, etc)....
I hold good losses with the Lux (and avg 50$ hands), so that helped me with locking into a host, plus applying my usual cheek help's!

and yeah, seen the 2 night comps from myVegas for MGM/Mir/M Bay/Lux/Excal, but I cant use any of them... You have to leave 72hrs inbetween comp's, and my 1st comp runs Fri-Mon (memorial weekend), hence the Lux gave me reduced rates Mon-Thurs, and then comp the Thurs-Sat stay, as Hosts cant conflict with Mlife offers, etc etc....
And the myVegas dates go upto end of June :):)

Should be plenty available for £100 /$125 a night.

use trivago for your dates, filter low to high and see how many are available for your budget at least to give you an idea

there are also links on the first pages to sites that offer discounted rooms

Luxor is towards one end of the strip

If you are looking for a central strip hotel on a budget
    try Flamingo, Harrahs, and Ballys

    Nothing again for us. :o
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Whilst in LV last May we decided we would mix things up, and do a few city breaks in May 2017. The idea was to visit LV in November 2017. However, 18 months between visits seemed a long time, so we also went to LV last November.

Anyway, we are now booked to go back for 11 nights in May, and are also considering booking flights for December. TC have some decent prices for April/May and November/December.

So the tiny pic process is slow and frustrating - I'll try and use a laptop later, rather than an iPad, maybe that will help.

In the meantime here's a pic from earlier this week at the show 'Baz - Star Crossed Love' which is at the Palazzo and available through Travelzoo.

We had VIP seats through that offer (first few rows) and it includes a glass of champagne each. We were upgraded on entry though to seats on the stage (3 tables of two on each side).

If you like his films you'll love it (as OH does and did).

I have bought these tickets through TravelZoo for my daughter and me to go at the end of the month - we are both very excited as we are both Baz fans.
