Last time I visited (Dec 16) I used Treasure Island parking, is that now chargeable?

When we went last year, the free ones we found were - Venetian (where we stayed), Tropicana, SLS (which we were told you had to pay and it wasn't true), Circus, Circus & Stratosphere.
Cheap parking Downtown was just off Freemont Street - Think it's the Main Street Station car park, and it was $3 all day.
Luxor charged us about $6 for about 3 hours  Although I'm sure I saw a sign there (could have been Excalibur, but it was deffo one of those at he bottom of the Strip) that said that if you stayed there you got your parking refunded.
I don't think half of them know what to charge - nothing preferably ;)
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j

Thanks dontone. We stayed at the Palms and Delano on our last visit. Palms beig off srip was free parking but Delano charged $10 a day but you were allowed to park at all the hotels from that group.

$3 all day that is good. Whenever we go downtown in the car it's usually after 8pm and many of the side roads are free after that time.

Off strip buffets that spring to mind

Green Valley Ranch & Red Rock - similar buffet and very good
Sunset Station - a little cheaper and pretty good
Orleans/Gold Coast - similar and decent, shuttle from back of Linq
M resort - well liked, but I don't care for it personally
Other stations - Santa Fe, Boulder, Texas, Palace etc (not great, but hearty food and really good value)
Rio - very good but not cheap

I used to like the buffet at the Hilton, plus it included beer and wine. Not sure if it still does, now that it's the Westgate?

There must be others, but those are the ones I've been to most. Shame there aren't all the myVegas deals on the stations and GVR/RR this year. :(

Booked our car for a week while we're there in September, so that's us pretty much organised. Not too worried about parking charges, as we rarely park on the strip. We tend to use the car to go out and about off strip.

I've been looking at myVegas rewards, now that we're within 90 days even of the end of our trip. I had been waiting for Wolfgang Puck at 60 days, but they've just changed the rewards. They also now seem to allow pizza and pasta at all of them, which is good news. Entrees aren't really any good to us as vegetarians.

I've got Wolfgang Puck Summerlin and Cucina so far. Still considering adding Spago or the MGM one. Any thoughts? I know MGM one is supposedly closed for a month just now though.

What are your preferred on strip buffets? That might help with recommendations.

Looking for somewhere to have a breakfast to keep us going before the drive from Vegas to Palm Springs. That's why I was thinking quick buffet off strip. We are back in Vegas the following week, somewhere reasonably cheap is fine!
