I've lived in the flat since 2013. On the first bill it has an E beside the 64975, which means estimate.

0 6 3 8 4 0 was the very first meter that was submitted to them when I signed up with them in May 2015.

Can you post a picture of this meter. I'm not convinced that you are reading it correctly.

If your bills are based on incorrect readings supplied by you, they will obviously be wrong.

    Crap in crap out!

    Oh what the hell...

They've estimated the first reading to be 59338.5

But my very first reading was 063840.

What could have possibly gone wrong...

The next time I go to the flat I will take a photo of it and post it on here. Why do you think I've been reading it incorrectly?

because it is unusual to get a six digit meter in domestic premises.

Does anybody think im adding a decimal point to my readings which i shouldn't be doing?

So, instead of it changing from 063840 to 078124. That's a change of 14,000.

Should it have been 06384 to now 07812. Which is a difference of 1,400...

If my memory serves me correct the last digit was either red or surrounded by red.

  • Hi,

well 1400 looks better than 14000 for the short time you use it.
