Argh I'm raged!

Didn't think I'd got a room, no confirmation page as it kept crashing, checked my email and I had a confirmation for a £29 room - woohoo!

BUT

It's for a date I didn't even enter, randomly a Tuesday, I was only looking at Saturdays!

So I call them up and they're having none of it, I just want to change it for another night, I know it says in the terms and conditions that you cant refund or change these booking but I honestly didn't book it for that day as I couldn't go in the week.

Manager's going to call me back 'if she has time'

Hi there

I have had an absolute nightmare with this this morning. I only wanted one room for a night in November but due to the horrendous problems that we have all encountered, and being told "thanks for trying to book with us but our server is down" i actually thought that they were having problems

To cut a long story short i eventually got to the end of the booking process and managed to get a room for £29...was so chuffed with myself.

The only problem is that when i checked my email i have got 2 rooms booked for 28th November 2 rooms for the 29th November and 1 one for the 5th December!!!

I have been in touch with Hoxtons and am waiting for them to get back to me to see if i can cancel any of these.

I was a happy bunny but now feel like i have been squashed by a big truck

Well it would be greedy if i actually wanted them all of them.

Like i said i only wanted to book one night and when i finally got to the end of the booking process i was happy and stopped.

Its their server that is the problem.

I have used Hoxtons on a couple of occassions before paying full price and have been perfectly happy with their service...now im not so sure.

oh.... just checking my e-mail, cos i thought i couldn't get the 28th dec, so i book 26th instead, but now i get both. and they were both the 29pound room, will i get in trouble and will i be able to cancel one?

What can i say blindman, looks like we were the first 2 people to get the rooms. got the date i wanted and got to find travel down to london now from manchetser so think britishairways flying £160 all in for return for 2? anyway thanks kindly, read the huxton site and the manager has even stated at 12:20 they had to shut down the flash site and move over to the html one.

Just phone them as it was so manic I am sure they will understand..I thought I had booked the same night 3 times.....

Conventgirl, if you dont need the room on the 29th of nov - cold i pleeease buy this from you?

i had the site ready from half 11, and when i tried to book just got a black page - didnt even get a chance to put my details in...

gutted as i have a Child Poverty course to attend and the room would be such a help....
