£1 Hoxton hotel rooms

I think I inadvertently booked 2 rooms on the same night - the page kept timing out or telling me to try again in 5 minutes, and I managed to subsequently book a room on the same night in another window. One was at a pound, the other at 29 pounds. I'm a little worried about this - did this happen to anyone else the last time the rooms were around? I know they are supposedly non refundable, but I genuinely thought the booking had not gone through.

Same thing happened to me. I got a message saying there were no rooms left at that price and/or the try again message for my £1 booking so booked a £29 room instead and have had 2 confirmation emails. I am going to drop them a line to enquire about it. Chuffed to bits that I got a room though! Had several rooms for £29 before but never a quid!

i managed to get the 13 dec then tried to book at full price for my son they want £169 woooooooooo

any one any ideas on how i could get a room or take him for less

Hmm....

A similar thing happened to me this time around (although mine are both at £1).

I don't want to take the risk of turning up on the night and them both having been cancelled, so I have e mailed them explaining what happened and asking for one to be honeoured and the other to be cancelled.

I don't know what the result will be, but fingers crossed! I'll post the result when I hear from them
