lots of business use this hotel. i know for a fact that lots of offices have let their satff have a break today at precisely 11:55 and have told staff to book rooms in their own names that coincide with meetings. i got one for a quid, but not on a day i wanted. i'll use it though

Three of us have got two rooms (in the Hox's luxurious setting and with yummy pret a manger breakfasts) on the night we're seeing the Spice Girls at the O2 for the grand total of £30 (booked in different names on different cards, naturally).

Simply brilliant!

I've done well in the past with the £1 rooms but this time couldn't get to the calendar to get an overall view as to which rooms were taken. Just got the dates page where I chose my own date and then waited........and waited.......before being told it had been taken.

Oh well, maybe next time :rolleyes:

Well, i never got one but that in itself is a real moneysaver as no train fare/underground tickets and i wont be spending money in london for a emal and theatre which i would have done so a little gutted but not too gutted.
Well done you lot that did get one , have a lovely time.

Managed to get one room at £29.00 but had to pay £79.00 for the next one, but overall not a bad price for a weekend away. Managed to grab some spice girls tickets last night aswell so should be a good laugh. (....... should I admit to that???)
